21 & OVER (e-Review)
(No shoes, no shirt and they still got service)
The first minute set the bar high. Sadly, it’s very predictable, unoriginal and too sober. There is a tampon joke that’s so disgusting to the point that I hated it. The acting is good. The writing…

What Makes One The Sexiest Man Alive?
As some of you may or may not be aware, Channing Tatum has been selected as People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for the year of 2012. It's fair to say that Tatum has been met with both praise and criticism for landing such a place in Hollywood's consciousness. Whether it's people who think that Ryan Gosling was once…

My Dream Team: One Fan's Idea for the Cast of a Justice League Movie
Joe Manganiello as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman. Okay, take away the beard and then you have an excellent person for Superman in a Justice League movie. Not only has he stated that he wanted to play Superman really badly in the upcoming Man of…

Chick Flick Shuffle Episode 20 & 21: Bridget Jones
So maybe our scheduling is still a bit out of wack, does it matter when you get four podcasts this month!? Absolutely not! Here on Chick Flick Shuffle we not only look at Bridget Jones' Diary, but its completely unwarranted sequel, The Edge of Reason. I know, it sounds like a James Bond title but don't get your hopes up. Join us anyway and our motley crew of British Hispanics and Self Hating Wigger Asians as we take a look at two films that exist…

Braingasm Podcast Episode 70: Come Hither, Jon Snow
In this our 70th episode of the Braingasm Podcast we are sans Cesca but with an abundance of Jordan Cobb (@jowoco). Why? Because they're the same person! We are also joined by first timer but instant classic Andrew Robinson (@gmanreviews).
We began as we do every week with Jordan proclaiming his hatred of science in favour of his beloved religion.
After that we had an intensely entertaining BSing section which lasted right up until we moved on into What's Been…

Magic Mike Review
A male stripper movie starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer and a bunch of other beefcakes taking their clothes off for all the ladies to see! Is that the movie that you'll get by the end of the night? Well... no. While there is a fair share of man ass in this sausage…

I never watched 21 Jump Street when it was on, mainly because I was three when the last season aired. I haven't watched it since then either but even I was pretty hesitant about this new movie based on the TV series. They could have done a lot of really terrible things with this movie, but somehow they were able to find a way to update the concept without being insulting to the original material. Well, at least I assume it…

21 Jump Street movie review - nkWhiteStar
As has been said time and time again, comedies are the most difficult genre of film to get right; it's like traversing a minefield on a unicycle. One small mis-step, and it could send everything up in a ball of flames. And when I first heard of this particular comedy, I had low hopes for it, the trailer looked so drab, and the leads were not to my taste at all. However, I did wish to give it…

In a world where full-grown adults can pass themselves off as teenagers, two maligned actors somehow spin comedy gold out from a terrible idea.
Many eons ago in 1987, a police procedural show about young-looking adults infiltrating schools to stop crime, and featuring a young Johnny Depp, was one of the most…

Braingasm Podcast Episode 57: The Walking Dull
In this our 57th episode we are Cesca-less but guest-full. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Shakyl (@the_gaming_king) and Scott (@scottpjthoughts).
We began as we do every week with a strange thud sound from off mic. Seriously, what is that?
From there we transitioned into some idle chit chat about black comedy, which was brought on through a discussion of
Key and Peele.
After that we…

21 Jump Street Review
This movie is the exact definition of a double negative! Phil Lord and Chris Miller's last film was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, an animated kids' film that turned out surprisingly well (supposedly a lot better than what the title implies). Jonah Hill and Channing…

Project X Review
An incredibly ambitious party movie that attempts to lay all other party movies to rest with the aid of weed, acid, ecstasy, alcohol, topless girls, adrenaline and high octane fuel that does anything but burn out? Yes, it's true. This is the movie to end all party movies and all parties period! It doesn't slow down, it doesn't let you up, and it's the culmination of the teenage life of all the kids who are now growing up with Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Fight Club, Jersey…

My Little Pony: FIM review - Season 2, Episode 21 (Dragon Quest)
First off, a very Happy St. Patricks Day to one and all, I hope you got to enjoy the festivities today and raise a glass (or several) to the Irish. Since I'm heading to a Brony meetup tomorrow, I kept things quiet today and stayed at home. But, the benefit is I can get this review up on time,…

4th day of SXSW
It was a very low key day at SXSW; I saw one movie at the Paramount.
21 JUMP STREET

It was a big line, but everybody got into the screening. The movie is really funny. I would put it up there with Hot Fuzz, in its level of police comedy. It never got into the level of annoying. If you ever seen the original 90s, you will notice many of the cameos from the original actors.
THE TALL…
