Rating-Rental
Ghost Town features a creepy setting and impressive special effects (When you take into account its extremely low budget), unfortunately what drags it down is the poor script, sub-par acting, and those typical "Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me" moments expected in a SYFY channel original movie. Worth a Rental, but nothing more than…

Rating-(High)Full Price!!
I'm not really much of a Star Trek fan (I saw like one season of TNG and some of the movies), but hot damn was this movie fucking badass. During one of the worst summer movie seasons in cinematic history (2009) Star Trek came out and blew audiences and critics away, and for very good reason. It is one of the best summer movies ever and if you call yourself a fan of sci-fi you must see this, and if you love a fun action movie you must see…

Rating-Some Ole' Bullsh*t!!
2009 and 2010 were the worst summer movie seasons, like ever. For every good movie that was released during them (District 9, Toy Story 3, Inception, Iron Man 2) we had a ton of shitty movies that accompanied them. And G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra was one of the bad ones, yet not as bad as some of the others were. It is just flat-out stupid.
G.I Joe: The Rise Of Cobra is about... well, it's about a team of soldiers trying to stop…

There's so much to be said about this movie but it's so hard to put it into words. I suppose that could be said about just about anything directors Joel and Ethan Coen have done. But A Serious Man is by far their most personal and psychological film. It's the story of a man, Larry Gopnik (Michael Stuhlbarg), whose life is unravelling right before his eyes. His wife (Sari Lennick) is leaving him for Sy Ableman (Fred…

Manny (Ray Romano) and Ellie (Queen Latifah) are having a baby and Sid (John Leguizamo) wants to help, but he's not exactly good with kids. In order to retrieve their friend Sid from the new monstrous threat, the herd has to travel into the treacherous underground world of the…

Centuries before the events of the first two Underworld films, lycan (werewolf) Lucian (Michael Sheen) was in love with Sonja (Rhona Mitra), the daughter of the ruler of the vampires, Viktor (Bill Nighy). Their unity brought with it the rise of the enslaved lycans, leading to the war that we've all become well acquainted with in the present story.
Going back and telling this story is a little confusing to me. From a…

It's a zombie apocalypse and while some are, well, dead, the rest are surviving the only way they know how: Taking in the pure joy of slaughtering the walking dead. Known only by their native cities, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) are on a journey across California on their way to anywhere that isn't full of zombies.
I feel like I've…

A Personal Farewell to a Personal Hero
Man, this is truly a sad day for me now that Carlyle is leaving Spill as a regular Spill Crew member permanently. For the four years that I've had to watch, read, and listen to the musings of this fine and articulate man, he's been at my side for arguably the four most arduous years of my life thus far. Even though Spill was founded in 2006, I never really got exposed to the site until 2007 when I was interested in seeing reviews on YouTube in its VERY early days and…
