Remakes!
The word sends chills of fear down even the most hardened movie-goers spine. Every once in a blue moon they actually get it right (
Dawn of the Dead) but more often than not it's an embarrassing fiasco for everyone involved.
So now you know how I feel about them, let's take a quick look at some of the remakes that have just been announced:

Despite the…

Let me start off by saying that I am a fan of the original Indian Jones films. Raiders of the Lost Ark is an absolutely flawless action/adventure film that both payed homage to the classic pulp heroes of the 30s as well as establishing the framework of future summer popcorn movies. With the success of Raiders, a sequel was obvious and in 1984 fans surprisingly got a prequel titled Temple of Doom. I'm not afraid say it, I honestly didn't like Temple of Doom. It's a shame really, because this…

Notorious filmmaker Uwe Boll takes on another video game adaption. Based on the controversial game of the same name 'Postal' tells the story of Dude, who, after a bad day, hatches a plan to rob the local cult. Coincidentally, the Taliban has the same idea on the exact same day.…

IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG, WAITING FOR THIS BUT FINALLY THE TRAILER FOR THE NEXT BAZ LUHRMANN FILM, TITLED AUSTRALIA IS HERE.

For those who aren't familiar with the movie, AUSTRALIA is an epic and romantic action adventure, set in that country on the explosive brink of World War II. In it, an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) travels to the faraway continent, where she meets a rough-hewn local (Hugh Jackman)…

I can’t say as I’d ever paid but so much attention to the show
The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, but then again, as far as I knew, neither did most anyone else I was friends with. I was too busy unsuccessfully chasing tail to pay much attention to yet ANOTHER sketch comedy group on
Comedy Central. Apparently, this was my mistake. Especially since there was no tail…

The second movie of The Chronicles of Narnia in my opinion is better than the first one. It is a film that defies the most creative imagination. It is full of action, adventure and the humor is excellent. The CGI are so impressive and the effects astonishing. The cast is practically the same of the first movie except for Sergio Castellito as King Miraz that by the way his performance was a little confusing because at first he seems the worst villian and then he becomes kinda weak. The for kids…

Before I start this review, I have this to say:
SCREW YOU, NATIONAL TREASURE. YOU SUCK A BIG ONE TO INDIANA JONES.
I say it because it's true.
WARNING: THIS CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS, PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
Indiana Jones has returned and could never be better. The film opens in 1957 Nevada where Indy (once again Harrison Ford) & his partner Mac (played by Beowulf himself Ray Winestone) are kidnapped by Russians and taken to Area 51 led by Irina…

More tidbits are coming out from that exhaustive Peter Cuneo interview, including the news that Sony has renewed their rights to Spider-Man, and a "most-likely" release date for Spider-Man 4.
"As far as Spider-Man 4, it's really up to Sony and it up to them, most likely…

Even in Russian (
we think it is anyway), this new International trailer for the
Angelina Jolie film,
Wanted, looks pretty bad ass and BLOODY.
Plus...who doesn't like a little
juicy bouncy breast in their movie trailer?…

INDIANA JONES
The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Movie Review by:
Fat Cat Randy
The new Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull action adventure film from the brilliant minds of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas did not match up to any of it’s Indy adventurous predecessors. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good action movie and the story line wasn’t bad either. However, the special effects team hit and missed…

Just when you thought it couldn't get worse than House of the Dead, it does. Steven Paul (the guy who brought us Ghost Rider) announced that his company, Crystal Sky production, managed to bring in $200 million for five movie projects. Among them include Castlevania, a sequel to Hardboiled and a Pac-Man movie. I feel sorry for this guy, because pac-man is just going to bomb.
To truly show how bad of an idea this is, here's a fan trailer to a Pac-Man…

I was fortunate enough to see a great action adventure film last night.
It was called Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull.
This film was everything I want an Indiana Jones movie to be.
Its the second best in the series in my opinion.
Top notch entertainment.
Very High Full Price

Sex and the City Movie Trivia
It's out next week, I'm not too fussed about seeing it - I never liked the TV show, I thought it was rubbish. Here's some trivia about the
Sex and the City movie anyway:
-Based on the autobiographical newspaper columns written by Candace Bushnell, the TV series Sex and the City debuted on HBO on June 6, 1998. The series’ six season run ended with the final episode airing in 2004. The…

In the aftermath of World War Hulk Bruce Banner was kept under lock and key by General Thunderbolt Ross. Despite that there was still a Hulk style rampage that left many readers scratching their heads. Who is this new Red Hulk, and is Rick Jones really the new Abomination? Unfortunately I don’t have answers for you here, what I have instead is a…

Since the boys on here seem to be going nuts over

Harrison Ford's leading ladies.
Michelle Pfeiffer,
What Lies Beneath (2000)

This lovely lady must be at least…

Thought I'd share this bit of news dealing with an interesting film premise that sounds like it came straight out of a comic book by Alan Moore. The film is called "
Iron Sky" and well, just read this synopsis taken from the website.
Towards the end of World War 2, in 1945, the SS officer Hans Kammler’s staff made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity research. From a secret base… Continue

Running Time 2 Hours and 4 Minutes
It's about freaking time.
After years and years of development trouble and script problems, Indiana Jones has finally returned to the big screen. Being such a huge fan of the series, I was frothing at the mouth to see this. I even watched the original trilogy the night before to get myself ready. Now, the big day has finally arrived, I plunked down on my seat, ready to watch the fourth Jones…
