I’ll admit, I thought
Witchblade was just another tits and swords epic. The
comic book series didn’t exactly scream probing insight so much as just probing in general, like a comic issue of
Maxim magazine (now with bonus killing!) I mean, look at this……

Tessa has every category except Indie Flicks. So here's my take on it.
Gold Medal – Son of Rambow
This movie is not only great for kids but it is great for anyone who loves film. It brings back the nostalgic feeling of the 80’s. Sure the story has been told before, but not in this light. This movie is so refreshing and brings something new and inventive to the Odd Couple story. Overall it’s 10 times better than the over cutesy films we feed to kids, it shows how kids…

The
Iron Man movie had one of all-time favorite endings. When Tony Stark looks at the press corp and says,
“Okay, I am Iron Man.” What he’s really saying is,
“F#&* YOU, Bruce Wayne, you brooding emo! I know how to be a billionaire superhero and enjoy it for how f#&*ing cool it is.”

…But then a few months later…

Don't let Jason fool you: I wanted to watch this one. I held onto it for awhile thinking I'd get a chance to get around to it and I never found the time. So I screwed him a little by throwing it at him saying, "I NEED THIS YESTERDAY!" but that's my own fault. Mad props to Jason for using his own hard…

Oh, the
Summer Olympics, how I love/hate thee. I love you for your brilliant, mad skillz and
crazy-awesome opening ceremony. I hate you for taking over prime-time for half the big television stations. However, the one thing that has always been good to me (well, most of the time, anyway) and continues to blow my mind is your arch nemesis: film. So, instead of wasting my life away watching something…

This morning I got woken up by a phone call. My best-friend---who recommended that I blog in the first place---had read my treatise on Ewoks, and suddenly realized she had a total nerd on her hands. She knows of my hatred for the living dead (i.e. zombies, not the undead i.e. vampires-I do love me some vampire movies), and so requested that I write up a blog on why I happen to hate zombies so much. I replied that I didn't think I could write a full page on it (though on further thought I…

Variety reports that Fox-based New Regency has put 'Voltron' into "turnaround. "Turnaround" is when a project is no longer active. It usually means that it has been abandoned by one studio and may be shopped to another.
According to the report,
financing and production venture Relativity Media is in negotiations to back the property, though on a more moderate… Continue

Hey Spillions! Okay ladies and gents, Punisher war zone! I watched the trailers and viewed the cast list and i think Hollywood need to take example from this grungy extreme looking comic book movie. If there was one thing that i found lacking in the first Punisher movie adaption it was the gore! This one seems to be promising a whole lot of gore with head explosions, face destruction's and even a giant meat grinder scene! Do tell what the rest of you think as I'm looking forward to this!…

'Watchman' actress Carla Gugino told MTV's Splash Page blog that the infamous encounter between her character and the Comedian (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is brutal, necessary, and remains intact in Zack Snyder's new movie.
SPOILER WARNING: If you haven't read the graphic novel, Gugino talks about the pivotal scene and its repercussions, which is a dramatic linchpin of the story.
The scene in question appears in the second chapter of the book, in which the young…

Most have you have heard about the upcoming comedic film
Tropic Thunder, starring and directed by
Ben Stiller. The film is about fictional Hollywood actors, and frequently parodies aspects of the film industry. One such parody is found in the metafictional movie "Simple Jack" within the film. Ben Stiller's character, Tugg Speedman, portrayed…
