News broke out last week that a remake of
Tobe Hooper's "
Poltergeist" is in the works and the writers of "Boogyman,"
Juliet Snowden and
Stiles White are penning the script. These guys also had a hand in writing Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" remake that may be a dead project over at Platinum Dunes. Thank God.
Now when I…

Here it comes, the review you've all been waiting for, the blockbuster of 2008's DVD releases: Duck! Seriously though, I hadn't heard of this either but I love Philip Baker Hall and told the folks in question, 'Sure, send it along, I'll have one of my minions look at it.' So on that note, here's Beau with a look at the festival favorite Duck. Personally, I'll wait for…

I thought it would be fitting to do a roundup of some great voice actors for a website that specializes in voice work, even though the spill crew is not comprised of voice actors, but you know what I mean. This is a list of some of the people who have done voice work with a few faces you may or may not recognize; check it out.

Roscoe Lee Browne - Everyone knows his voice once they hear it he was doing the AT&T…

So, I was waiting in the on campus theater for the free midnight showing of Iron Man to start. At 12:05, I began to sweat as the people next to me began to mutter something that might have been rioting plans (or maybe they were just doing their best Milton impressions). One of the entertainment reps thankfully chose that moment to come out to let us know that the wait was almost over, as well as explain exactly why none of us had to pay for 2 hours of awesomeness. Turns out that CBS had…

This year was a sad one.
This year, we lost some of the world's most talented entertainers.
Heath Ledger, who's star was beginning to shine was struck down in his prime. Leaving behind a legacy of daring roles that will go down in history.
Issac Hayes, a musical trendsetter, visionary, and humanitarian passed after giving us the gift…

There are only 9 movies made by pixar and all of them are great so I wanted to make a list of which are the best pixar movies.
9.Cars

This movie is great but it falls short of other pixar classics what really makes this movie good is that at the end they show some of their past movie but the characters are in car form included are Hamm, the Yeti, and P.T Flea, all of whom are voiced by John Ratzenberger, whose Cars character Mack is shown…

The Clone Wars follows the same formula of the previous Star Wars movies with full of action, adventure and some funny moments but I didn't feel the same intensity and power the saga is characterized of having. The plot is interesting although I found some flaws in it. The animation is good but not great, some characters like Yoda and Ahsoka are good but Anakin and Obi-Wan are kinda square shaped. I like the music, in general it's good but I think that some songs don't fit completely on the…

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)
Rating: 10

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the most technically stunning video game ever made. It's also a fine example of storytelling prowess within its medium, combining gameplay and narrative so slickly and beautifully that it's impossible to extricate one from the other. It's likely you will emerge awestruck from your first play-through, wishing the experience would…

Japanese cult director
Takashi Miike is known for his controversial portrayal of graphic violence in his films. He's sort of like Japan's version of
Quentin Tarantino, just not as mainstream (interestingly enough, Tarantino is in this movie). The man never seems to stop making movies, having made fifteen films in 2001-2002 alone. And one of his…
