"And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

Ninja Assassin *** out of **** Spill Rating: HIGH MATINEE!
Ninja Assassin is the very definition of style over substance. If you're looking for an exciting, bloody and fun diversion for 2 hours, you're set. If you're looking for any film resembling plot, acting, story; Old Dogs would be better than this. Ninja Assassin certainly delivers in an abundance of ninjas and most certainly gives us Assassins. The film is one of the most…

When they call it 'Fantastic', they weren't kidding.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is based on a children's book 'Fantastic Mr.Fox' by Raold Dahl. Mr. Fox (George Clooney) is 7 fox-year old newspaper columnist, who is married to Mrs. Fox (Meryl Streep) and has a son named Ash (Jason Schwartzman). Realizing he's getting old, he buys a tree house next to three meanest farmers in the town and starts stealing their farm stocks…

Scariest film ever made......my arse.
I would like to start of with a story, about May time, I went to the cinema to watch Drag me to Hell, 15 mins into the film I walked out, as I found it too scary. What relevance does this have you ask. Well I'll tell you.
This supposedly titled "scariest film ever to hit America" had complete and utter zero effect on me, I was never scared, and I most certainly won't be having…

Well...I'm bored. I came home and turn on the T.V. and saw some christmas shit on and when I logged on to my myspace page I saw this person status update saying how many more days until Christmas.
So with that I decided to do my favorite Christmas movies and T.V. show...and I'll start my list with the #5...I would like to ask what Korey's favorite Christmas movie or T.V. show is but I can't think of another way to put it other than "Whats you favorite..." and we all know how he gets…

Hey guys,
After listening to your take on this recent cultural phenomenon, I think some clarification is in order. As one of the members that wrote a blog about the Twilight craziness, it feels to me like you're missing the point that a lot of us have been making. Truth is that we're not very fond of the people that simply hate something because of its popularity either. If you're like me, then your hatreds need justifications. And I may be speaking only for myself, but I've got some…

So I was fortunate enough to get a copy of the literal “black sheep” of Disney Animation Studio
Song of the South. I got my copy from a friend of mine whose roommate stumbled upon a bit torrent containing every Disney movie made prior to 1975.
Now my friend and I have one thing in common which most people would find odd. We share a love for racial humor. We know when to throw them as well as how to take them when they are thrown at us. However, we also know…

I love it when a movie can define its setting and characters so well that it doesn’t need to balance its storytelling with unnecessary reinforcing details. My favorite films of all time are movies that don’t pander to the audience; movies that don’t focus heavily on telling its audiences a story but simply give us a glimpse into a typical day in another world, simply bringing them along for the ride. That said, I’ve found such a film…

Note: I wrote this review originally for my Journalism Class. We had to do a movie, music or restaurant review. Obviously I chose the movie review. My teacher encourages us to publish our work and get it out there so this is my attempt at that, since I am an introvert and a bit shy concerning my writing. This is my first movie review-ever- so feel free to drop pointers on what you liked, what could have been better, etc., but…

"Rajesh Khanna: The Birth of a Superstar" and is essentially on 'Aradhana'. Interviews with Kaka (Super Star Rajesh Khanna), Sharmila Tagore (Actress), Sachin Bhowmick (the writer), etc. Kaka (Super Star Rajesh Khanna) and Sharmila Tagore sound great, Sharmila Tagore looks really nice too and Kaka looks too good when he's without make-up. The interview with him was done in between shooting for his serial "Raghukul reet.." and it shows but he sounds… Continue

No, really.
Ever since the first trailer, I've been adamant that this movie was going to suck. But everyone and their dog's grandmother is going completely batshit for this movie. They praise the "animation", they praise Wes Anderson's direction, they praise the witty dialogue, they call it "touching" and "original".
IT IS NONE OF THESE THINGS!!
Perhaps in a different universe this movie is a solid gold piece…

Alice in Wonderland set to come out March 5 2010, has already spread through out different places through the world, such as merchandise from Hot Topic, to showing their trailers in 3-D. But Alice in Wonderland is even influencing the world of music. Popular Fueled by Ramen band, Paramore, has released a new video (directed by Meiert Avis) for their newest single "Brick by Boring Brick, off of their newest rock album "Brand New Eyes." The beautiful video includes many Alice in Wonderland…

Sometimes, movies take place over the course of several months and one of those months is usually December. What comes in December? Come on people, this isn't rocket surgery or brain science! It's Christmas. Christmas specific scenes in movies that aren't centered around the holiday can usually do or say more about the holiday than most Christmas movies can! Other times, they're just really cool scenes that happen to take place during that holiday season. Either way, they're likely to be…

Jack Wade, one of the many Hollywood reporters for "Photoplay" must have let loose a big girlish squeal when he got word from the "Selznick-International man" that he would not get bounced off the set of "Gone with the Wind" if he were to swing by to take a look.
"First of all, a report on Vivien Leigh...Hollywood already agreed that she's the happiest choice any one could have made. Even swamp angels from deepest Dixie put their okay on her accent...Clark Gable looks like the…
