MAD MAX 4: Fury Road just got a greenlight, and pre-production is commencing immediately!
George Miller will probably be working on this film, and Justice League at the same time...and Happy Feet 2! Prior to the Iraq War the plan was to shoot it there, so now it's likely to be filmed in Namibia. Who knows? Maybe they'll be able to catch Angelina Jolie in the background adopting more kids.
Mad Max 4 has…

Not too long ago, there was this real tough guy that went by the name of Robert De Niro. This man was a legend in the world of tough guy cinema. Then he started to hang out with Billy Crystal and Ben Stiller and something happend. The tough guy I once knew, exchanged his tough guy suit for a clown costume and sold his soul to SNL. Tough guy movies would never be the same. That was until I read a story that could possibly restore my faith in a guy I…

The Three Stooges was supposed to be the Farelly Brothers'
next movie after The Heartbreak Kid.
Their plan was to write and direct four slapstick shorts with new actors, just like the old Stooges shorts. But the studio would rather have them direct another raucous comedy, even with The Heartbreak Kid practically having been declared a flop.…

You can't just laugh off Leonardo DiCaprio anymore. He and director Martin Scorsese are prepping their FOURTH film together. I don't know if Scorsese really is that fond of him, or thinks that actors with Di or De names are his good luck charm, but either way if you can impress this guy, you've gotta have something.
The new film is called Shutter Island based on a book by Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone). Leo… Continue

Now THAT makes me interested in seeing this. I admit, I was that one guy who thought Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle was just ok. Not bad, but just meh. It was like a stoner movie for people who got all they know about actually being stoned from watching the movies. Gorram pot tourists. I admit that the Neil Patrick Harris part was frakking funny. Great oddball casting and it makes me happy to see that he'll be… Continue

Mark Millar:
It's 8.58am right now, my guys at CAA get into the office in about
seven hours and my call will be waiting for them to talk about this. I
want to revamp Superman like Hillary wants thin ankles. Revamping this
franchise is what I as given fingers for and so, invited or not, I'm
putting my plan together now. I've been asked to work on half a dozen
screenplays lately, but this is the only… Continue

Yes my friends. At the stroke of midnight on Halloween, the biggest writers strike in 20 years will happen and that will signal the end deadline for all t.v. and film scripts to be turned in, until a contract is agreed upon between the writers guild and the movie studios and television networks. The Los Angeles Times broke an interesting story of what the big studios are having to deal with until the dead…

Halle Berry was forced to apologize after making an anti-Semitic joke on The Tonight Show. She was showing Jay Leno and the audience distorted pictures of herself and held up the first photo saying,
"Here's where I look like my
Jewish cousin!" It was a picture of her with a huge, distorted nose.
No one laughed, and Jay nervously said,
'I'm glad you said that and not
me." When the show aired, they cut out her 'Jewish' comment…

I was not what you would call, a perfect student. When I was in school, I found myself easily distracted by girls, fantasy novels, writing band names on schoolbooks... By the time this dude who played the kettle drums in Band named Monster passed me a doobie at summer camp, it was a foregone conclusion that I was gonna dig it. If there had been such a thing as blogs back then I could have written an encyclopedic guide to snack foods.
About as motivated as I got, other… Continue

I could blog about nothing but remakes of horror films and still be able to post two items a day, I swear to FSM. So here it is, your daily entry in the pathetic remake-fest that Hollywood has become lately. I can understand the remakes of J-horror or otherwise non-English horror that makes its way over, even if I don't like it. But the American remakes of American films...well, not only are they out of ideas, it's like they're not even… Continue

Just when you thought you had enough spoof films to avoid, you once again thought wrong. Yes good citizens, David Zucker is making his superhero spoof film called, you guessed it, "Superhero!" starring the legendary actor of stage and screen Leslie Nielson. Anyway, here is the story regarding the plot and the search for anyone who resembles the Pope and is desperate for work.

If you regularly watch "Heroes" or other NBC shows like I do, you may have noticed how Jerry Seinfeld has personally been crowbarring plugs for his "Bee Movie" in every one of them lately. Really pushing it down our throats. Like, at this point there's no way it can make back enough money to cover the advertising budget alone.
Part of…

there to introduce THE EXORICST, hinted that a remake of the film is in

about it!
It has officially gotten out of hand.

Virtuosity.” No one in America had heard of Russell Crowe back then when he
had to audition alongside Washington. So it's surprising to find out that he took that opportunity to SPIT on Denzel.
He Said- Russell Crowe:

AND the plot thickens yet again.
William Shatner is interviewed about the new Trek film and says he hasn't been asked to appear in it, despite what the web is saying. Is he lying as part of a big
JJ Abrams game? Where did the web confirmation of his appearance in it start anyways? Is
Hercules from AICN just making it up? I choose to go with A: It's a big Abrams game, because that's the most fun answer and I want so bad to see Shatner play Kirk again. Anyways, check out this…
