Serpent Review: Batman: Arkham Asylum

As you may all ready know, Batman is one of the, if not THE greatest superhero of all time. One of the biggest reasons that is because he is not super at all. He is a normal human being, a very strong fit human being but a human being none the less. As he's popularate has grown over the years, he has been in movie, tv shows and videogames. Not all of his games have been bad, but none of them really stand out. Now I will say this here and… Continue

Aw, hell naw... No you did'int! Bad Boys III in the works.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Columbia has ordered a script for Bad Boys III, in 3-D. Well, maybe not in 3-D, but still...

"Columbia Pictures is developing a third installment of the high-octane "Bad Boys" franchise, hiring a writer for the screenplay.

The hope is that Peter Craig's script would reunite director Michael Bay, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. At this point, with the…

The Hangover: The best comedy of the year

Usually when people talk about hangovers they usually meant about the day after drinking a lot. In this case The Hangover is the most ingenious comedy I've seen in the year. Directed by Todd Phillips, The Hangover contains all kind of comedy and humor existed in this world. It is an hour and a half full of laughs. It is cleverly written, Two days before his wedding, Doug and his three friends drive to Las Vegas for a blow-out bachelor party they'll never forget. The movie follows a fast paced… Continue

"If you were born with a gift, how would you use it?"

This is a student film project shot in a DV camera. This is probably my best work and it almost got into film festival. It's worth a month of brainstorming and hair pulling.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: A magical dissapointment

The Half Blood prince, the sixth and latest adaptation from Harry Potter's books in my opinion was the lamest and most dissapointing movie of all six. At least the previous five has tons of action, adventure and humor. But this one is two hours and a half of the same boredome story. It is a flat plot that never advances and the lame excuse or romance make the film ridiculously cheesy. The very few of special effects that the movie has were very good. The cast were good but their performances in… Continue

Why did the main character in "Taking Woodstock" have to be gay?

This is more of a rant than it is a review. And this is coming from an admitted homosexual, albeit I have one foot in and the other foot out of the closet.

But after watching Taking Woodstock and enjoying the film for its strong character-driven story, I can’t help but ask one question: Why did the main character have to be gay?

The film doesn’t focus on that aspect so much as it does the chaos and self-discovery that results from Woodstock being there. Hell,… Continue

The Comics Guy - Transmetropolitan Vol. 1 Review

Hey everyone, I’m heyra667, otherwise known as The Comics Guy. Why the Comics Guy? Because I have a disturbing lack of imagination when it comes to names. But I digress.

I’m going to work on a default disclaimer for these reviews, but for this one, I’m just going to be frank with you guys. I’m going to try not to spoil things, but it will happen. Not the big shocker moments, nor the big emotional moments. But the little stuff? Those are fair game. I’m only going to spoil if I need you to… Continue

A Review of ALIENS IN THE ATTIC, by me, EL FOGGY

.......Well, it beats Alien Vs Predator in the Attic.

Now it my 4 year old necie's birthday, so we went to the cinema and to be honest, out of the 3 picks she had, she picked the least painful, the other to where G-Force and Shorts, feel my relief!

Well actually, I wouldn't of mind watching those as I could finally tear apart a movie at long last on this website.

Because this isn't half bad.

It's… Continue

Last Year In Film: The Hottie And The Nottie

I can’t think of many films that have actually made feel physically ill. I can watch the most horrific scenes of gore-laden violence and not feel sick. There are times however that something pushes me over the edge and makes me feel a little bit woozy. One scene that sticks out in particular is the scene in The Fly when Jeff Goldblum is pulling out his finger nails. There, I just dry heaved whilst thinking and writing about it. Thankfully it’s just one scene. The problem is, you see, I have a… Continue
