If every action movie fan around the world had one big dream where anything was possible, bullet time was always involved, hot chicks kicked ass, and superhumans could curve bullets around street corners....it'd probably be something like Wanted. This movie is every action fan's dream come true. Possibly the most amazing action sequences and visuals are in this flick. In one scene, Fox (Angelina Jolie) is leaning out of her niceass car with a gun shooting at a gunman that is chasing her from… Continue

Around early May Michael Bay told the world not to believe what was on the net about "Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen". Im guessing he forgot The amount of "spy photos" and leaked videos is insane and now we have what could actually pass as a behind-the-scenes look as Frenzy, the Decepticon from the first film, attacks a car filled with a Shia LaBeouf and someone else. At least I am assuming their is someone else in the car or he is just yelling at no one to "Back up... Oh no, oh no, oh… Continue

If you go to the video section, you'll notice I've posted a 8 part Gotham Knight video. They're not clips. IT'S THE FULL MOVIE! In perfect quality, too! Managed to get it off of YouTube. I hope you enjoy this early treat!
Greetings Spillios, after a long delay, another review is ready. I know, I am not consistent but at least when I write a review I put all my heart and soul into it... or at least Jack Daniels. That always helps me! Well, I went through my DVD Collection only to be reminded of a film I haven't seen since I saw it in the cinema. I felt that it was very underrated and should be shining its spotlight down on everyone! So here is my review for the Stephen King Adaptation,… Continue

Well slightly off topic (*although underdog Spain's unexpected trip to the final against all the odds of their past failures and disappointments is almost fairy-tale-sports-film-like - okay its not but who cares*)...
So tonight is the final of Euro 2008 and see theres no one really chatting about it on here - admittedly this is a film site, but hey we do have other interests too.… Continue

This film is a movie buff's wet dream. So close to flawless. So close to perfection. I smiled throughout this entire movie. When I wasn't smiling, I laughing. When I wasn't laughing, I was sitting in my seat, jaw wide open, basking in cinema heaven. The movie begins with an eerie, almost chilling feel to it. What was once earth, is now a deserted wasteland, completely covered in trash. What appear to be buildings and towers are actually colossal… Continue

When a fan asked this question at panel tonight, Bruce Timm quickly and curtly replied "Wonder Woman" which sent the crowd in massive whistle-blowing and clapping frenzy. But the literal funny thing was that the VP creative guy Noveck, sharply whipped around his head and had his mouth agape towards Timm because at almost the same time, Noveck repiled "We are not supposed to say". This made the crowd laugh and cry out even harder. Timm immediately said after that, "uh....yeah nevermind, its not… Continue

okay it is not like i am against novels/comics into movies. i mean harry potter, and iron man were awesome. but i draw the line when they do what the comic does and leaves the theatrical wonder at the door. WANTED the comic book is a little bit different from what the movie's plot is, but i will allow it, because not everyone in the theater is going to have a distinct knowledge of Wesley Gibson or Sloan or Fox. so based on… Continue
Last week we broke the news on the film, now we just received a very interesting phone call from a reliable source that informs us that writer-director-actor-producer Scott Spiegel is in serious talks to both write and direct Hostel: Part III, which we're told is slated to go direct-to-DVD/Blu-ray. Spiegel is a big genre fav as he produced both HOSTEL and HOSTEL: PART II for Lionsgate and Sony Screen Gems, starred in Raimi's THE EVIL DEAD, wrote and… Continue
A little intro before I start a countdown, but I have a tremendous hardon for dudes with guns going at it. In a manly, go get us some chicks manner, dur. In America, where many folk have a hard-on for the second Amendment, there's nothing like watching some big dude on roids grab a firearm and right all the wrongs in the world. So uh, strap in, hold on, and I'll spout off my own opinion and you can tell me I'm horribly wrong with obscure internet references at the end.
Ok, so maybe I wasn't sitting next to him but I was only a few rows away from him and at the end of the movie a panel consisting of Timm, Brian Azzarello, Alan Burnett, Josh Olson, and Greg Rucka, and VP of creative affairs Gregory Noveck took the stage for some Q and A. There was an adorable kid with an adorable question which prompted a...well a crowd pleasing, hilarious response. (more on that later)
First let me tell you how glad I was to get a seat. The movie aired at 7pm and I… Continue
I’ve written ten sentences and erased ten sentences already to try and tell you what the movie Storm is. You have to experience it for yourself. Yes, yes, I do realize I’m paraphrasing The Matrix. The way Storm starts off you’d think you were watching a Swedish knock-off of it for a moment, but that’s not really what… Continue
