11:30 p.m. - Pick up Milk and Bread at Supermarket

12:00 a.m. - Stalk Survivor Girl while she studies upon legend

I'm sure Leslie Vernon, the epynomous antagonist of the film, had a list similar to this while he stalked his survivor girl(aka Final girl) and set up his detailed plans to lay the foundation of his legend among the top slashers of his day. Welcome to the world of Behind The… Continue

My Review of Into The Woods.

I saw another school production for my drama class for marks. This time, it was for the stage play "Into The Woods" based on the book by James Lapine. Original music and lyrics were done by Stephen Sondheim.

Into the Woods is a story broken down into two acts. The first act follows the standard stories of well-known fairy tale characters. It follows the story of Little Red Riding Hood trying to navigate her way through the woods to see her grandmother while avoiding the wolf.… Continue

Aaron's Two Spill Spinoff Pitch Ideas!

I've been listening to a few of the last 'Let's Do This' podcasts while I walk in Monroeville on weekends when some thoughts came into my head for a potential spinoff for Let's Do This as well as a spin-off for the Co-Host.

Before I begin, I just want to say that the photos I made are just test photos so excuse the shitiness of them.

So, now for the heads at Spill and especially Korey and Co-Host, I'm presenting two pitches for potential spinoffs:

First up, THE… Continue

Thank you, Jason. Thank you for taking all the most horrible looking movies with a smile, for even going out of your way to request them. Old and young alike can enjoy "Up"

“Thank you for the adventure. Now go have one of your own!” –Ellie Frederickson, Up

We live in a blessed time in cinema. It is very rare that we can think of a single company that has given us such a consistent track record of very good films (just barely brilliant at their worst). PIXAR’s run of films hasn’t let us down yet, and ever since their first theatrical run with Toy Story, the company keeps raising the bar.

When you try to explain the super… Continue

Ponyo Review

Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea

My Spill rating: Matinee

Let me start this review by saying I love Hayao Miyazaki films. Lupin the Third: Castle of Cagliostoro is the most complete perfect animation movie I have ever seen. (Yes, you die-hard anime otaku, it’s better than Akira. But that’s another argument for another time) My Neighbor Totoro always brings a smile to my face and takes me back to a time of innocence when the world… Continue

Blade Reviews: Pixar's Up (In 3-D)

Plot: 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America to fufil his recently passed away wife. After lifting off he learns that he isn't alone since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.

Alright Pixar's Up. I've been waiting a long time to see this movie. First off I might as well name off my favorite Pixar… Continue

Up: A review

It's been almost 15 years since a little animation studio called Pixar brought us a movie called Toy Story, and if anyone ever told me that in 15 years, over 10 movies, along with countless short films, that Pixar would never make a bad movie, I would have scoffed. Every Pixar film that has been released has been met with the same critical and audience acclaim ( some less then others, but still popular). The trend continues with " Up", Pixar's most mature movie to… Continue

X-Men Orgins: Wolverine

Now, as most of you know, an early workprint of Wolverine was leaked onto the internet a month before the film's release and word got out that it sucked. Well, that didn't stop it from getting $87 Million opening weekend. So, are the rumors true? Well, let's take a look. X-Men Orgins: Wolverine is a prequel to the original X-Men directed by Bryan Singer and takes place 17 years earlier. It's directed by Gavin Hood and stars Hugh Jackman as James… Continue

Star Trek

For those of you who don't already know, I'm a big Star Trek fan. But for the last ten years, Star Trek and it's fanbase has been dying. The last two films, Insurrection and Nemises were big disappointments, and same goes for the last two television series, Voyager and Enterprise. I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but after J.J Abrams was hired to direct and after hearing all the spot on casting, I was really looking forward to this. So,… Continue
