X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the real version) comes out this week, so I’m hoping people will finally stop talking about it. It’s not that I don’t mind seeing a bare-assed Hugh Jackman sporting retractable claws, I just can’t bear to talk about it anymore. Honestly, I hope it was worth the wait (and the spoilers). Here are a few movies I’d watch ahead of time, in addition to a couple for… Continue

Needless to say, I was totally floored. I had mentioned in passing a while ago that I was hoping to get a Wii, eventually. Well, today, my friend handed me a large bag and said "Happy Birthday." This was an entirely new experience for me. Usually I am the one giving gifts. I have had the good fortune at times to be in a position to be able to give somewhat extravagant gifts to people. I always say that there is no better feeling than knowing a gift is… Continue

MTV caught up with director Robert Zemeckis, who revealed quite a shock by announcing his possible next project.
Zemeckis said, "I'll tell you what is buzzing around in my head now that we have the ability—the digital tools, performance capture—I'm starting to think about… Continue
MTV recently sat down with X-Men Origins: Wolverine co-star Ryan Reynolds and asked him how he felt about doing a spin-off film on his character Deadpool.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Bruce Willis has been in discussions to star in three action movies: a thriller for NuImage/Millenium titled Inventory, the CIA tale Red for Summit and the mob biopic Scarpa for Morgan Creek.
In Inventory, Willis would play a detective on the trail of a… Continue
1981: New York's crime rate rises a staggering four hundred percent, and since the city has become pretty much uninhabitable, they decide to build a giant wall around Manhattan Island and turn it into a giant prison.
Escape From New York takes place 16 years into the future, and since this movie was made in 1981, that means it takes place in 1997. (Talk about being out of date!) A gang of (what I… Continue

Okay, maybe I should start this off with a little disclaimer. I’m kind of a hardass. Not a huge hardass -- I didn’t hate Indie 4 as much as some on this site and found Transformers pleasantly entertaining. I am a comic book nerd (though more DC than Marvel) so . . . well . . . maybe I should just start the review.
Directed by blah blah actors blah blah. Seriously, if you want to know google it, cuz it's two in the… Continue
First I' a fan of Kevin Smith and but, many of my friends enjoyed this movie, I just didn't. Perhaps because I'm not a fan of Seth Rogen. God, I've tried but I do not see what other see in him. To me Kevin Smith is the new comedy and social commentator of our times. He can be compared to Carlin, Hofman. and even ( I will be vilified) Lenny Bruce. this movie is crass without commentary. This I do miss.

Buy it! Green Lantern #40Orange Crush!
I learned two things about the Orange Lantern power. It could be the most powerful light. Seems like it doesn't like to share power and consumes whoever bears power then replicates their dead form. Freaky. I think the Star Sapphires will play a role in saving the GL's asses. Seems like nothing can combat the orange light but love that conquers all.
Every weekend of every summer, people line up at their local cinema to see the newest release, forking over 8 bucks for a mind-numbing 2 hour experience to escape the troubles of everyday life. As many of you know, it wasn’t always like this. Summer was not always the designated season for the big budget high concept film. Credit to starting this tradition is given to Jaws in 1975. Now, I’m sure we’re all well aware of the… Continue
