Universal Having A 'Resurrection'

Universal has optioned Resurrection, an Oni Press comic book series written by "Eli Stone" co-creator Marc Guggenheim, says The Hollywood Reporter.

There is no way they dont screw the pooch on this one. First of all they can't do bettr than this.







My main beef is the cast with the exception of Ray Park are to young. Duke is an E-8 which would make him at a minimum and lucky 30. He'd actually be 35-40. To reach the level of bad ass'edness required to be a JOE you have to be at least 30. I woild love to see Bruce Willis as General Hawk. Maybe even Michale Ironside. This mvie pissed me off. It made me cry more then any other movie or probably most things in real life in the second half. The movie is great. Now the fact that I cried in an Adam Sandler movie might be crazy to most people but if you watch it even if tears don't fall from your eyes you will be sad. The acting in this is great. I watched this right before I fell asleep last night and I was surprised i didn't stay awake too long after I finished watching it. Before watching or hearing about this film I had never heard of robert ford and i knew next to nothing about jesse james. (other then that he was a notorious outlaw).

Wesley Snipes sentenced to THREE YEARS in prison!! WTF??

On Feb. 1 a jury found Wesley Snipes guilty of three misdemeanor counts of willfully failing to file tax returns, but acquitted him of the more serious felony conspiracy and tax fraud charges and three additional counts of failure to file.
