Why they didn't show this when it premiered on MTV, i'll never know. The trailer came up during Superhero Movie where I saw the change. Doesn't change anything. ANYWAY... Superhero Movie I was in all anticipation for the… Continue

T.G.R.I. The Year of the Movies! March 31: Horton Hears a Who? Review (Hey it Rhymed!)

Horton Hears a Who? - 0 (Shit Sandwich)

Done right: A Horton movie could have been an insightful whimsical movie about sticking up for those who can't stick up for themselves. Done wrong: it can be an annoying sack of shit. The movie turned out to be the latter. This is the ultimate example of how Shrek has killed kids animated films. "Oh, we need references to pop culture to appeal to adu… Continue

Splinter47 De Luca Alludes To 'Metal Gear' Movie

Mike De Luca, former head of production at New Line Studios and producer of the upcoming 21, starring Kevin Spacey, is a fan of comics and videogames, and specifically thinks that making a film version of Metal Gear Solid is a great idea. So much so, in fact, that he's working on developing it, and taking pitches from writers about a potential script. Sure, none of this is new infor… Continue

T.G.R.I. The Year of the Movies! March 28: Persepolis Review

Persepolis - ***** (Kick Ass!)

An animated black and white French film based on a graphic novel about a girl coming of age in Iran during a government over throw. Aaron Disney Announces Another Performance Capture Animated Film

Disney is giving another shot at the whole "performance capture" style of computer animation with a new flick called CALLING ALL ROBOTS. The project comes from X2 and SUPERMAN RETURNS co-writer Mike Dougherty, who's teaming with Robert Zemeckis' company ImageMovers for the flick. Details on the story are scarce, but it's a sci-fi adventure that Dougherty (who hails from an animation background) cryptically describes as a "throwback to old Godzilla movies." Don't be too surprised if it's availab… Continue

JeffSon Issues?

I'm not going to hijack a thread for this... I've been developing a distinct dislike for internet fanboys who insult women for being "unattractive". I guess I take issue with any man who feels that negative comments toward women are an acceptable form of communication. I figure if Maxim readers are comfortable enough in degrading another human being with deliberately hateful descriptions for their own amusement, I should be allowed to voice my own opinion that they are a bunch of fucking morons… Continue
