It's now official: The Commander in Chief award for the most spectacular freshman flame-out of the 07-08 TV season goes to... Bionic Woman!
Although NBC isn't talking, I'm told by multiple sources that Bionic staffers were informed late last week that the troubled reboot has indeed been canceled. That means no spring relaunch under new show-runner Jason Cahill — which is too bad. Cahill's a talented guy (see: The Sopranos), and I was anxious to see what he would do with the…

The Thing.
The is a direct sequel to the movie in game form. This game is really incredible. It carries the theme of mistrust of the movie into the game. You have to make sure your squad mates trust you so they don't try to kill you. The game carries the story of the game rather well, where you are part of a squad sent in to find out what happened at the research base in Antarctica. The story includes betrayals and excellent horror themes. At this point in time you could buy this…

What an excellent movie. As well as Little Miss Sunshine in 2006, Juno is the big independent hit of '07, its funny but it also has its dramatic moments, its also full of irony. With a fresh, original and interesting story about a 16 y.o teen who gets pregnant and from that point, she begins to think what to do with the baby she is expecting. The movie has a very good rhythm that makes it enjoyable. The cast is very good, Ellen Page with a terrific performance as Juno, Jason Bateman and…

For anyone who thinks I'm not kidding about Tyler Perry's character 'Madea' becoming a cartoon character. Here's the story from Comingsoon.net:

Variety says that much like Perry's hit TBS comedy "House of Payne," the untitled "Madea" toon will be funded and produced before the…

I had the opportunity to watch this on DVD last night with my wife and a good friend of ours who just so happens to be a gigantic Beatles fan. In short, it was an amazing and unique experience that I am sad to think I can never 'see this for the first time' again.
First off, let me say I'm no fan of musicals. The only musical-esque movie I watch of my own volition is the Blues Brothers, and I don't think it counts. That being said, this is TRULY a musical and it has a very Moulin…

Diary Of the Dead
Running Time 1 Hour and 35 Minutes
Usually, I give out the history of these films, but these films are so well known, I'm not going to bother detailing the history of the "Dead'' series. Now, I'm not that big of a fan of the very first "started it all" movie, Night Of The Living Dead, but I became a fan once I saw the later films, especially Dawn. Now, his fourth film in the series, Land Of The Dead, was a little too ambitious in scope, so Romero…

I just watched 3:10 to Yuma- one of the best westerns I have ever seen. I'm usually not too big of a fan of westerns- my fav is The Big Country starring Gregory Peck which is mostly about the clashing cultures of the Eastern and Western U.S.
(Retired, wealthy sea Captain Jame McKay (Gregory Peck) arrives in the vast expanse of the West to marry fiancée Pat Terrill (Carroll Baker). McKay is a man whose values & approach to life are a mystery to the ranchers & ranch foreman Steve…
