If you own an HD television, you most likely want to receive HDTV programming. However, to upgrade your current cable you need to pay an extra monthly fee (typically around 10 dollars). If you do not want to pay the extra amount but still want some HD channels, you can connect an HDTV antenna to your TV. This allows you to receive off-the-air programming without a monthly charge.

So many great holiday releases this year and not enough hours in the day to see all of them! Luckily, most of us have a nice break and will be able to see most of them. For “Movied,” I’ll be focusing on the two most anticipated movies: Sherlock Holmes and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Curious of what I’ll be watching beforehand? Keep reading…… Continue

An inherent hue (color, hair color, eye color) and the nature and characteristics of the color match, there is cold, warm distinction. Wear cool colors of the clothes but the jewelry with a warm, wearing a 24K gold necklace has with the Vice-silver earrings, this is a dress with a taboo.
The fashion jewelry is also warm and cold colors of the points, choose the colors and selection of jewelry, like the color of clothing, all depends on your body's own… Continue

I decided that instead of a Top 10 list (which would piss off the likes of Leon), I will simply go through all the films I've seen this year in chronological order of their release date from January to December; this is gonna be a long one.

The following is a collection of unbelievably stupid questions asked from parents going to Alvin & the Chipmunks 2. They were too numerous to just isolate into one long blog. Seriously.

“Is that middle bag the large?”
…Yes, the middle bag, which is in between the small bag and the large tub, is a large…

“Would you like to add a candy to your order for $1?”
“Is it free?”
‘Nuff said.

“Is that popcorn fresh?”
This was shortly asked after a… Continue
James Cameron is back in the directing chair with Avatar, the most anticipated movie of 2009. I walked into the theater expecting it to be great. When I came out, I thought it was incredible.
The story is that Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, is a paraplegic who goes to a world known as Pandora. C… Continue

I've become one of those tired, sad faced dudes you see in the second half of December coming out of Target. You know the kind, accompanied by a woman usually checking things off a long list. That 'kill me' look in my eyes isn't just for show. I'm ready for the season to be over already so I can get on with the avoidable holidays section of the year; except February 14th (yeah guys, just TRY to skip that one) I'll be good until the weather cycles back to cold again.
I've been SO b… Continue
The Batman, Season 2 Review
Before I begin, I would like to note that I will just focus on the plot of this season. If you are looking for a review of acting and the art style, and so on I refer you to my “The Batman, Season 1 Review”: http://my.spill.com/profiles/blogs/the-batman-season-1-review
In this season, Bruce is shown as a bit more mature character who is able to live in agreement with his alter ego: the Batma… Continue
Well if you've known me long enough you’ve known I've always fancied myself a sort of cook. Now I don't have dreams of being Anthony Bourdain, Gordon Ramsey, or any of those other great Chefs, nope, I have the skills of a bar cook and I have no qualms about it. But since I don't exactly have the cash to start up my dream of Red Stag Gastro Pub , I'm just going to start putting my demented creations on my various blogs as what I call Gastro-Creations. Yep this is bar food folks so don't expect an… Continue

People often ask me how many times I see a movie before reviewing it, and with rare exceptions the answer is "Just once." But a week and a half after I saw Sherlock Holmes, I found that the film had all but disappeared from my mind, and so I went back to see it a second time. I don't think it was just the usual clutter of holiday releases that caused the memory of this one to vani… Continue

Finally, the long awaited Family Guy parody of "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back." With the high quality of "Blue Harvest" (it's my go to film on longish bus trips), I'd been looking forward to "Something Something Something Dark Side" for quite awhile. Unfortunately, while it is definately *good* Family Guy fare, it's not *great.*
From what I've seen of other reviews, the consensus would appear to be that if you're a Family Guy fan, you'll enjoy this and if you aren't, you won't enjoy it as… Continue
