But a family member of mine sent me this. Just as a reminder and to keep my head straight (Maybe it can help):
"Living on purpose is about taking control of your life and future. By taking control of your life you can direct your own path. Don’t wait to see what may or may not happen; rather act to ensure the results you are seeking will happen. If you take the power and control back over your life, your dreams and goals suddenly seem more obtainable.
Those far flung far reaching ideas that you could not imagine ever happening, may become clearer and more conceivable. Take control of your destiny. Don’t leave it in the hands of someone who does not know your dreams and goals. You are the only person who can master and guide your path, for only you can determine what is best for you. Begin to live on purpose."
and
“The art of being yourself at your best is the art of unfolding your personality into the person you want to be. Be gentle with yourself, learn to love yourself, to forgive yourself, for only as we have the right attitude toward ourselves, can we have the right attitude toward others.”
I would look at that from time to time. Having just the mind set of taking care of what I have to do and not worrying so much about the other people. TRUST, I learned very quickly about what people I DO and DON'T want around me.
glad to know I can inspire someone in this world.
The whole 90's for me, was just a great time to be alive. I miss those days.
Gracias for more tunes that'll make me wish I had enough talent to play something j/k, your very thoughful =]
Well, you'd might be surprised on what I haven't heard. Just listen to my playlist, that's me right there, if I had to translate my life through song. You can name anything you want. Wow that's kind of a good question. Hmm what would you choose as your songs to translate your life?
But for now, You'll be hearing from me if I ever stumble on any music that makes my ears jump with joy ;-)
It’s been two days and I already have 200 new songs. I’m still going through your suggestions, but I think I’m ready for your other list now. I dig what you got Tessa =]
Anything that I can say, umm, is most likely things you might have heard, but how would I know right? I can say; Under The Influence Of Giants (Funky), The Myriad, Passion Pit, The Riverboat Gamblers, At The Drive-In, Band Of Skulls, Scissor Sisters (very happy sound), Friendly Fires, Sea Wolf, Doves, Travis, Vega4 and what I’m really digging is Shiny Toy Guns (check out a song call Don’t Cry Out the album is We Are Pilots) I don’t know what it is but I love her voice! Now I can go on and on, but I’ll stop right here. I hope you’ll find something in there interesting, if not, I tired and I never said anything. =P
I'm gonna be very busy today with all this music
I'll absolutely let you know when I get through the 70's & 80's.
Thanks again. =]
I love it!! I'm listening to it right now. =]
I'm into; Alternative, Electronica, Hard Rock, Punk Rock, Pop Rock, Techno [gasp] I gotta catch my breath Scores, some Rap, not really a lot. In my iTunes I have 5180 songs, out of that, only 100 are rap songs. But really I don't try to limit my ears. I have some bit of metal, the only thing that I don't have is country. Maybe it's because I haven't heard the right songs yet, but, It's like nails on a chalkboard sometimes.
Thanks for the add. Now since you have such a great taste in movies I was wondering if you have any music suggestions? I'm always searching for any new sound and I have an open mind. =]
I know that in a lot of sci-fi horror, especially in all the old classics, the zombies normally appear out of nowhere and a bunch of cliche characters shoot them all and after that only two of the remaining good guys are left and the movie ends. But what if you took a new twist on zombies and returned to their original origin. Such as dark magic, an acient occult, or even the Day of Judgment type stuff. Cuz originally zombies weren't canabalistic monsters who bit someone and later they became them. They were essentally the dead brought back to life to be slaves. How would you put this into a movie? An army of undead slaves who can't question, feel, or choose?
