Lately, it seems like I have been reviewing horror movies more often than any genre. I wrote reviews on THE FINAL DESTINATION 3-D (which doesn't deserve any association with this genre of filmaking) and ZOMBIELAND (which did have some good tense scenes despite the fact that the movie is mainly a comedy). For some reason when it comes to horror films the zombie genre doesn't disappoint. I can't remember when was the last there was a zombie movie that wasn't good. DAWN OF THE DEAD, 28 DAYS LATER, 28 WEEKS LATER, REC, SHAUN OF THE DEAD, and the list goes on. Now with ZOMBIELAND, that bar has been raised pretty damn high that I will be surprised if one day another movie comes along to top this.
