Alright i havent put up a blogpost in like.....forever. So but i recently have been addicted to watching the new trailer for Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are. I've read that it had some trouble late last year because of Jonze's "dark" take on the story, which is only 10 pages long by the way. Need I say more? Pixar's greatest film [in my opinion] is getting it's third sequel. Toy Story the original, was the film of my childhood and will stay one of my favorites of all time. Toy Story 2 was entertaining to me, but wasn't as good as the first in my opinion. But I'm very excited to know that they are making a third installment.

Well one of my favorite directors is at it again for his third film. Funny People is a story about a dying comedian (Adam Sandler) who finds a young protege (Seth Rogen) and how they bond. The film seems very good just like his two previous films Knocked up and The 40 Year Old Virgin. Seth Rogen seems promising and Adam Sandler actually looks good in this film, which will hopefully make up for the piece of sh*t Bedtime Stories. So hope to see this film this summer.… Continue

For a while now horror fans have been waiting for this classic franchise to get rebooted like its other slasher film counterparts Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees. This "re-imagining" seems promising since I'm a fan of the films. Hopefully it'll be better than the recent Friday the 13th remake, which wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. The screenplay will be written by the famous Wes Craven so is seems promising.… Continue

For some reason, i enjoy movies of two smart people having witty and fast paced conversation. For example, one of my favorite movies "Phone Booth" its just Colin Farrell talking to a Kiefer Sutherland pointing a gun at him for an hour and a half. But for some reason i was pulled into the story and loved it. Other films like Frost/Nixon and Spike Lee's Inside Man are also examples of these types of movies. So I'm asking if anyone knows any good movies like these, cause i miss this type of film.… Continue
