But yeah, I need to step aside for now. I'm tired, really tired, of all the fights that I seem to get pulled into even when I'm either joking around or just hanging out. I'm tired of so many different things right now that I can't even name them all. I think I said it best to Ghostwriter a few minutes ago.
There's a feeling that more people are more concerned about their own stuff now, that they tend to either ignore the SITE all together, or they seem to only USE the site TO PROMOTE THEMSELVES..... and that's gotten to me. I'll be around for reviews and podcasts, but will NOT be active. Hell, I probably wont even log-in when I check out the podcasts/reviews now. Just load the page and ignore the rest of the stuff and center on the few things that I still enjoy about the site. I know that I'll be around from time to time, so don't be surprised to get something from me here and there. ...... but be aware that it could take DAYS before you get a reply.
But for now, I just have to "step away for a while", and really see if the enjoyment can outweigh the headaches. But lately, the headaches have taken over to the point of ruining the enjoyment.
I have always loved Star Wars more than Star Trek, but I completely respect what Star Trek's importance to entertainment in general (and Sci-Fi specifically) has always been. I for one, refuse to let that historically importance of the show go to the way-side just for a popcorn movie. I especially refuse to do so, if the next wave of fans don't even seem to CARE about that historical importance.
Still love Star Wars more though. lol
Out of everyone that has seem the movie, you are the ONLY one that has been able to answer the very simple question of respecting the Star Trek name by adding social commentary. Every seems to want to attack me for wanting to have it involved in the movie, which is odd. I'm not bashing the movie at all, matter of fact I've not seen it so I can't justify saying a bad or good thing about the movie. But, instead of answering a simple question with a yes/no they've just gotta attack. LOL
While I'm not afraid of their attacks (I think it is funny) it still annoys me that they can't answer the one question that would make me want to see or not-see the movie to begin with. lol

everyone I talk to about that movie (grand Torino) says they love it...So i am really excited to go check that out...I read your response on the New Street Fighter I am so excited about this new game...I'm more of a Ryu man myself...

Whenever I come to work hungover, or I'm just feeling Ultra Lazy I go sneak off to the bathroom, and take a nap in one of the stalls, or if you have your own cubical you can prop your head in your hands and catch a couple Zzzz's once you get your technique down properly it will look like you are focusing really hard on your computer screen, but really you will be far away in dream land...
