Multiple Salvador Dalí Films, Now That's Surreal.

Tooling around the web today, I found an article about Antonio Banderas playing Salvador Dalí, and that article led to me discovering info about more than one Dalí film being made. Surreal.

From totalfilm.com today (Nov. 6):

Antonio Banderas may be oiling up his moustache to play Salvador Dalí in a biopic of the Spanish artist.

Dalí will tell the…

Some Lesser Known/Underappreciated Clint Eastwood Films

With the news of the upcoming Gran Torino (which looks amazing), I've been re-watching all the Eastwood films in my collection lately, not that I ever need an excuse to do so. The man is just talented, not only as an actor, but as a director as well. I thought I'd list some of the more 'overlooked' films of his career. Everybody knows about the Spaghetti Westerns, Dirty Harry, the Every Which Way movies, and most of his work in recent… Continue

Zombie Strippers Review: Pretty Much What You'd Expect

I've heard about this movie for a while now, and even seen it banner-advertised on this very site, so when I saw it was on Veoh, I couldn't pass it up. I'll give the plot first, then what I did, and didn't, like about it.

More Movies Worth Checking Out, Still In No Particular Order

I'm continuing to list movies that a lot of people either haven't seen, or aren't as appreciated as they should be. Why? Because it kills me how many truly awful films are being made, and how much money they rake in. So rather than just complain about it, I'd rather try and turn some people on to some good cinema. Keep in mind, these are just my picks, and we all have different tastes, but if these pique your interest, they're in all likelihood worth your time. You can click… Continue

A List of Movies Worth Checking Out, In No Particular Order

I'll skip the format of 'x number of films', and just list some that I think will not only entertain you, but make you a little more 'knowledgeable' about what goes into making a good movie, or at the very least, an enjoyable one. There is absolutely no ranking system here, just a cinematic 'grocery list'. Keep in mind that I'm leaving out a lot of classics, and a lot of recent releases, simply because they've been extensively covered, and most people are aware of them anyway. I also didn't… Continue
