I've had this in my library for a month or so now and just viewed it for the first time last nite. This is SUCH a prolific film. Martyrs is so well crafted it reminds me of Let The Right One In (Låt den rätte komma in) - genre defining story eleme...
For Austinites and visitors to our great city:
This is the place to find out when and where the boys (and robot) from Spill, will be getting together for drinks, movies, drinks, special occasions, and just hanging out together. Oh, and drinks.

I think I may find more spectacular 2D animation if I did watch more anime. The last that I watched was 'Cowboy Bebop' and that was years ago. I'm sure there have been some good additions since then that contribute to the genre.
So, if 2D is back, where can I find it? Spike and Mike's just keep playing the same shorts over and over again and I haven't seen anything else good that has hit the screen in awhile . . .
Thanks for the friend request. Those are great examples of 2D/3D marriage, though I seen some animation works (ie. a recent Ironman cartoon series) that use mainly computer renderings that leaves me a bit bothered. They use a cell shading look to trick, to mass the cheapness; looks more like a low colour paletted game cut-scene. Technically nice but not pleasing, definitely not artistic.
Anyway, guess I am becoming old and set in my ways. ;)
LOL I am glad you liked the welcome :)
Took a little while to put it together, but well worth the effort.
