Ah, that's true. I just remembered. When Raiden is tortured and you run around nekkid. haha, yeah, that's a cool segment. When you have to rely completely on stealth. There's none of that in MGS4 though (like you said)
yeah, that's true. but the capture/escape wasn't in MGS2 either...they DID, however, have the torture scene in there, like they do in every game. Only in a slightly different form (I'm talking about MGS4 tunnel crawl scene)
yeah, I know what you're talking about;P "It's good, isn't it?". But, as I said, I thought all the cutscenes etc was awsome the first time through, but when I play the game more than once (in fact I've beat it like...8 times:P) I skip the cutscenes and then I see how little actually gameplay is present in the later Acts
I see that....I disagree though:P I thought 2 was great, but, I agree, it got a bit boring to just stay at the plant all the time. what I didn't like with MGS4 was that it (gameplay wise) was kind of a missed oppertunity. Act 1 and 2 was superb, awsome gameplay, varied; basically perfect. but then in Act 3, suddenly you're thrown back to pure sneaking, no more "choose your method stuff". THEN, to make matters worse, in Act 4 you no longer fight human enemies, only robots. I.e, you can't really use any of your new CQC or Stun Knife or anything. and then of course you've got Act 5 (which was awsome the first two times through), where you basically one play for slithers of time, with 20 min cutscenes in between 1 min gameplay segments. All these problems wasn't really that big the first time through, since then I didn't care 'cause I watched all the cutscenes, but when you play it 3, 4, 5 times (and you skip cutscenes) you kinda realise how little ACTUAL gameplay there is in Act 5...it just bugged me
My fave character: Big Boss. I love Solid Snake too of course, but I just like Big Boss more, 'cause he's such a great, deep character. Fave boss fight is a hard one though...but I REALLY liked these ones:
Crying Wolf, The End (of course), Gray Fox/Cyborg Ninja. Those are the ones that I think was the most fun to play
I probably like MGS3: Substance the most and I think that's the best one in the series, but I have a very strong connection to MGS1, 'cause it was the one that made me like the series so much. So, a typical MGS fanboy question: what do you think of Raiden?
