When I feel lost and like a loser, which is quite often, I turn to "Shine". This brilliant flick gives me both inspiration and hope and makes me feel that every little obstacle is climbable. Especially this one scene. I can watch it all over again and it always gives me the same good feeling of "Ha! I can do it!".

Sleepless as usual. Late-night movie on Channel 3: Thinner, based on the novel with the same name by Stephen King. Crappy movie if you ask me. Robert John Burke in the lead-role, was darn annoying. Looked as if he was smiling and happy all the time. Really bad make-up effects. A total B-flick.

Freddy Rodriguez - impressive. Not sure why, but his appearence is what stays in my mind. Despite a one-legged woman with a machine gun leg.

Michael Biehn - wow he's been getting old since Terminator.

I am as usual bored like hell on a Saturday evening. I have a number of movies I could watch, but I just dont know which. Iam not sure what mood im in at the moment..."40 year old virgin" perhaps. I have watched that movie so many times, but it is still bloody good. Or should I watch something more...emotional and touching? Like "Magnolia" which I havent watched in many years? Or should I just flip around the TV channels hoping for a Simpsons episode?
