Now who doesn't like a good zombie movie? I know i bloody love them from Night of the living dead to Zombie Strippers! The revamp of the zombie-horror genre in the past few years has left me craving more flesh eating, gut munching blood soaked action and so i began to reflect upon what the zombie incorporates and how the image of the modern day zombie has changed over the years as effects became more advanced.

By being well known, of course I refer to his "legacy" being taught her in America. Most Americans have no idea who he really was, or what he really had to go through to GET to the point of having a peace offer, of ANY type.
But the movie really did make you think about Michael Collins and the position he was put into by the Free States treaty. Was he simply finding the best solution available, or should he have held out for more? It's something that you watch the movie (At least in the States) and actually pause to ask, should he have kept fighting?
Now, as far as personal knowledge. Hell yeah he was a hero to a nation, and possibly one of the greatest figures of Irish history that isn't really well known as he should be. His "legacy" isn't as well known as it should be, and hopefully people will at least give the movie a chance to learn something they didn't know.
For me personally, he's somewhat of a "legend" from my grandparents that places him on the same level as almost all the "American Revolutionary" fighters that I learned in school as a kid. It was my grandparents that taught me about Michael Collins and the real Irish Republic, not what we were told in school. (By we, I mean here in America)
Yeah you wouldn't think there would be many but from a group I joined there seems to be about 15 or 16 Irish people. I'm from Greystones in Wicklow. Is that picture from your debs?
Just thought they might help you get started, it sucks to take a chance and spend €20 or $20 on a Graphic Novel and then it turn out to be one of the shite ones. Welcome to Spill by the way!
Unfortunately, the movies sucked, I lost my faith after watching the second
