The real problem lies not within communism but within capitalism. Many people equate capitalism with democracy. But they are not synonymous. The truth is: democracy can thrive without capitalism. Capitalism gives corporations more power than the people and results in oligarchies, which are governments ruled by a few like big business and those who line their pockets. This is precisely why the U.S., for example, is stuck in a two-party…

I’ve tried, I really have. Years of being the shy and boring black haired, brown eyed boy took their toll and awhile back I decided I wanted to be interesting. Having a natural tendency towards paranoid delusions seemed such a gift in light of that, but as the title of this post implies, I’m too lazy to make use of my talent.
Typical me; I don’t practice the harmonica or write much anymore. I’ll grudgingly admit that I have a few wee talents knocking about but I’m…

I'm almost tempted to say Starbucks ;), but seriously if you're really trying to find a spot, why not check on the Brew & View discussion board on the last two years, there's got to be something of interest.
Party over here
I'm going to say at least 11-ish because it's opening night. If you're late just text me and I'll save you a seat.
Sure man. Just a bunch of ordinary Joes trying to have a good time over some cold ones.
We might switch the after movie spot to a place across 4th ave for a drink or two. IF a few cool members I've meet last month from Jersey (who work in the morning) and Westchester arrive, I don't want to over complicate their evening.
You might want to leave a mobile # via private message just in case to myself or G-man. Just in case, after movie plans change.
Hope to see you there.
