I grabbed a few After Dark Flicks at the weekend and have to say was just a tad disappointed with them.

First up Lake Dead which I can best describe as Texas Chainsaw only without the chainsaw and pretty dire it was too. Z listed actors being chased by members of their own psycho family.

A couple of decent grisly effects do not make up for a lousy horror film.

Well that was the biggest load of shit I've seen in a long time.

Truly awful, no shock value, characters that you wish were all ****ing dead and just to spare you watching this truly dreadful pile only one survives but probably not for long.

Theres an hour and a bit of my life wasted.

Awesome, entertaining, brutal and the best transferral from a graphic novel to the big screen ever.

Excellent Soundtrack as well, I just loved it. Quite long though but I think that's because they wanted to do it Justice and they certainly have I got in for the midday performance and walked out at 3pm.

A must see, makes The Dark Knight look like a kiddies film.

Ok so I went and saw it and yes the real 3D or as it's called RealD is pretty good however the film itself was not. Wooden acting, telegraphed can you spot who the bad guy is direction and it actually costs £2 more to see it because of the 3D Glasses.

But actually what really let it down for me and this wasn't the cinema's fault or the film but no it was the arsehole Psychbob who sat next to me with his girlfriend and laughed at all the gory bits

So glad that it got much adulation at The Golden Globes, it's a fantastic film and hopefully if it's any indication of whether it has Oscar on it then winning best picture at the Golden Globes will hopefully seal the deal. Please go see it, Would love it if the Spill team go to check it out.
