I know how you feel, I was a jock geek, if that makes any sense, I wrestled and played football, but my heart is in the sky.lol
I actually kinda liked the Slaughterhouse Five movie. It wasn't great, but honestly, it was the best one could possibly hope for from an adaptation of that great (albeit unadaptable) book.
If you want to see a REALLY shitty Vonnegut adaptation, seek out Breakfast Of Champions.
If, on the other hand, you want to see a really great Vonnegut adaptation, seek out Mother Night.
I am a second generation female nerd, so I find it difficult to communicate with other women; they never understand when I speak in geek-isms. Or they sneer at me when I make a ridiculous pun.
