Checking emails and working on the finishing touches of my page.
Born in Washington, DC NW, I developed an interest in films during my early childhood days and would quickly obtain knowledge on the different genres, actors and filmmakers, which comes from watching too much TV and purposely watching movies reputedly. I would keep up with certain people who caught my attention by reading the credits as a way to find other references of their other film projects.
Some of the genres that caught my eyes growing up were horror, sci-fi, action and martial arts, all that would allow me to study them and learn the backbone of the projects and filmmaking techniques.
Legendary screen icons for me were Charles Bronson, Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly, Fred Williamson, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Billy Dee Williams and a lot of other accomplished actors who performed over the past 30 years.
One of my goals that I hope will become a career (once I go the right path) is writing (reviews on movies and some music) to express my viewpoints and knowledge on topics that I can appreciate (or sometimes not appreciate).
I also enjoy comedy and I love to laugh and joke around because I find it to be a form of human relief for me and the crafting of different jokes and verbal communications can be very impressive depending on how words are put together on dofferent subject matters like behaviors, speeches, parodies and other characteristics.
Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy were the earlier comedians who caught my attention in the earlier years and of course, TV shows like "In Living Color"pushed the envelope for different stages of comedy.
This led me to becoming a fan "Spill.com" because it has a nice choice of well-animated cartoon characters of different races to express their viewpoints on different films while being able to use their comedic skills and parodies through discussions on a particular film.
As a fan of comedy, the voice overs behind Spill.com's characters are funny. They are able to present humor and well-balanced parodies on the subject matter on the films that they talk about and that's what makes them entertaining and something that many viewers can appreciate.
Just to make this short, I found myself growing as a film critic (over the past 15 years) due to my hobby for writing reviews on films (mosty Hong Kong & Hollywood cinema martial arts movies and action films) and the knowledge, obtained from me watching different movies.
