The Worst Movies I Saw in 2011

Now, though I watch a lot of movies, I don't get to see everything, but most of what I do see, I tend to enjoy. But, every year, there's always 2-5 movies that I vehemently hate. Most I stick it out until the end and some I shut off. Sometimes the ones I shut off are the ones that are near the bottom. I have rambled, but first I want to start off with 2 movies that are considered by most to be the worst of the year, but I didn't think they were as bad as people said.Jack and Jill & Bucky…See More

Many of the awards that have already been presented have had her crowned as the Supporting Actress of the year. But, if Spencer doesn't win, it most likely will…See More

The Movies I've See in Theatres in 2012 (NOW WITH BLURBS!!!)

Just like the last two, but with blurbs about what I thought of the movieThe Adventures of Tintin (3D)- Jan 12- 4/5 stars- A very good classic style adventure epic with pretty good 3D.War Horse- Jan 12- 5/5 stars- Though very cliche, it was a great war film and one of my favorites of 2011.Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close- Jan 21- 5/5 stars- Do not see the hate for the movie, emotional and powerful. The Grey- Jan 28- 5/5 stars- Greatly marketed as something it wasn't, and very rewarding look…See More

The Movies I've Seen in 3D in Theatres

I figured I would do a list of all of the 3D movies I've seen in theatres and give little blurbs of what I thought of their way of using the technology. This list will be in the order that I saw them in.Spy Kids 3D: Game Over- Used the Red/Blue technique, bit of an eyesore, but when I was 10 years old, it was the greatest thing since peanut butter and jelly.Toy Story 3- My first digital 3D movie, had to drive 60 miles just to go see it and I really enjoyed the experience and made me want to see…See More

Looking 'Back to the Future'

It was a summer night around 7 or 8 sometime in June or July of 2001, I was 8 years old and was watching a TV show on TNT in my room that my dad was watching in the front room (this was back when we had just the one reciever in the house and whatever channel it was on in one room, it was on in the rest of the house too, really pissed me off). Before this program was over, a promo for a TNT Saturday Night New Classic came on and it was a movie I had never seen before. After this program was…See More

Summer 2011 Review

Well, Summer is officially over for me, so I will go ahead and do my review for every movie I saw in my summer period (First weekend of May- Last weekend of August) and give a quick little quote of what I thought of each film. And at the end of it all, I will rank them accordingly from worst to best. May Water for Elephants- I saw it the last Friday of April and wanted to see it again just for a different perspective and it made it a much better film upon second and third viewings and it's one…See More

2011 Mid-Year Review

Well, I deleted my last mid-year review from July because it was just a lazy attempt of doing one of these. But there is only two additions after the month of June that will be part of the "top 10 so far" list. But first, let me just say that most of the movies I saw this year, I've liked or loved. There were only 3 that I just fucking hated. Let's talk about those 3. Beastly- I just watched it last night and I shut it off after 25 minutes. It was just too damn farfetched and stupid for me to…See More
