DON'T BE A HATER

I encourage helpful criticism. However, I do not encourage people with no maturity level. Posting a picture of a toilet, referring to where my reviews belong, for example, is immature.

I write movie reviews as a hobby, not a profession. Although in the near future, I hope to learn more as time progresses. I've had plenty of people give me advice on which direction I should go with my reviews, and I have thanked them.

As for right now, I simply review movies how I see them. In general and not about the little details that make up a movie. I see a movie simply how the director intended the movie to originally look, its a gift.

I usually rate a movie higher than most critics. If I give crap to a movie that others rate higher, don't be upset. If I didn't like it, I won't say anything I don't believe.

Again, this may all change as time progresses. It's something I might want to do later in life. I truly love movies, and I love the craft.

[NOTE] This is my personal opinion of how I think they differ. I myself am an average movie goer, so I simply am backing up my reviews.

If movies were puzzles, this is how critics would relate to the average paying customer:

Critics usually pay close attention to each and every puzzle piece, making sure they all connect properly, and make sense with each other, to make the final picture.

The average movie goer does not look at each piece, but rather, the final image. If they like the picture,… Continue

Hancock (2008)

“HANCOCK”
( 2008 )
**** 1/2

I have been waiting several weeks, even months to see this movie. Its unique way of advertising a superhero intrigued me. Who would think of a superhero that is a drunk, depressed, and has a dark mysterious past? If you ask me, that alone almost sounds like a super-villain. Well Hancock is neither a super-villain, nor your classic superhero. He simply has his o… Continue
