Hello everybody!
Welcome to my page. I am TristanMagreet, he who reviews obscure and Asian films! I'm not trying to be some sort of review hipster, I am merely trying to branch out and review some lesser known gems, and/or horrible, horrible films.
You can find my blog below, in which I write about my movie reviewing experiences. My forum discussions are to your left. I've tucked the photo box away because who cares what I look like! Feel free to leave a comment, or send a friend request if you so choose.
Let the reviewenation commence!

Greetings Spillio's
Something has been missing from my reviews. That something is 'context'. I have now reviewed 3 films that are based on pre-existing works. Battle Royale and Logan's Run are both adaptations of books. I have spent many nights at home screaming into the darkness "Oh, how I wish I could tell the Spillio's about how the plot makes more sense in book!" But you see, I have been developing a style; a reviewers code of ethics, if you will (or won't). In that…

Salutations!

I was reluctant to post my works in a public forum. I had some silly notion that people might be mean to me on the Internet. I have used YouTube and I…

Man, what great gifts to wake up to today! Two absolutely perfect choices and I REALLY appreciate it.
Oh, brother. Thank you so very much for the "O Brother".
Hope you had a good Christmas.
Tristan, thanks so much for the Graphic Novel. Suffice it to say, "Sleeper" is a superhero world noir mystery by the modern master of such things, Ed Brubaker, and I'm largely surprised at myself I've gone this long without owning/having read the second part of this great story. Thank you SO much and Merry Christmas!
Saw your Buckaroo Banzai review. Good, job dude!
I just wanted to point out that my copy's got none of the audio issues that you seem to have been saddled with. I've got to check which distributor it's from but the sound quality is OK.
