I doubt it. They already have their next film in pre-production "Spy Movie." These movies are SO cheap to make, I guarantee you that "Disaster Movie" has probably already made a profit. By the time it gets done with international, pay per view, and DVD sales, it will still have been well worth their time. We're all gonna have to work harder...

I'm embarrassed to admit that I've only actually ever watched a few episodes of the show, although I did really like it a lot.

I don't see why the other guys couldn't see that. It's you and me against the world, Tom.

Watch the grammar. That would be the big critique. Need paragraph breaks at the very least.

A good review should have a brief overview of the plot (spoiler-free of course) because presumably not all of your readers will be as movie savvy as you or I and will already know what Jumper is about.

There is some good humor here, I lolled a few times, but be careful not to let the humor run away completely with the review. People ultimately want to make up their own minds and they want you to give them enough information to help them do that despite the expression of your own opinions.

-You gotta read about it. Read the legendary critics like Paulene Kael and Roger Ebert.

-Write reviews for absolutely everything you see, even if you're the only one who reads it. This is your critic college, don't be disappointed if no one cares about your writing until later.

-Own a copy of "The Elements of Style." Even if you're no master of grammar, (FSM knows I'm not) you have to have the basics down or no one will take you seriously. This goes doubly for spelling. Make sure you have a good spell-checker hard-wired into your browser.

-Watch movies, watch movies, watch movies. Especially watch the classics. You gotta know what came first to know what to say about what comes out now, but never forget that not everyone sees all those classics so your criticism has to tread a thin line between those two viewpoints.

-Discover your voice. A generic review without personality is great if you want to work for fandango.com or someplace like that. You have to discover who Tom Eikner is THROUGH your affection for film and then you can really learn how to make Tom's voice be heard and be interesting.

Eventually you'll want to know where to submit. Hell, submit everywhere. Local paper, web sites, amazon.com...you ain't gettin' paid anytime soon, you just want to get your stuff out there and get some feedback (which you CAN NOT take personally.)

Hope all this helped.
