Halloween (1978) vs. Rob Zombie's Halloween.
I know I'm going to get a ton of shit about this, but I really did like Rob Zombie's version of Halloween. The origional Halloween pissed me off for the simple fact that there was no reason for him to actually do the things he did (granted they did explain it in the later movies). Rob Zombie's take that this kid was a sociopath from the time he was a child, how he degraded into the brutal killer that he ends up being was, in my opinion the highlight of the movie.
