Dr. Detfink said… I'm actually more worried about my boss giving me time off.
You know you're walking on egg shells when the boss said to me this morning, "You around tomorrow? I want to talk to you about your vacation request..." Which is anxiety riddled because I already book my Iceland trip with my girlfriend in March and the other vacation is with my brother Chicago-New Orleans-Austin. So I'm going to see if I make that hurdle FIRST before making any further prognosis.

Of course, I'll let you know as soon as possible. If those 10 days are approved, I would imagine I will be in Chicago on June 8-11.
The only wild card, I don't really know if my brother has anything planned but we both have an open door policy when it comes to bringing people to a gathering.
When we last spoke, ironically it was right before I was leaving for Spill dot con. That was the first time in 3 years. Recently he moved back to the Midwest from from LA to Chicago when his company had an opening. I'm sure after the obligatory introductions to strangers who have zero interest in me nor I in them (very similar to spill dot con)...we'll begin the great journey of laughing, boozing, and talking about stuff that doesn't really matter. ;)
