At 3:52pm on November 19, 2009, MDS said…: I think the problem that i have with the English-made shows having subtitles, is that it's the "Prime-time" shows that seem to do it more than anything else. Shows like "Skins" and "Occupation" were the two that I noticed it on first. But they were highly advertised shows that were shown during "prime-time" hours. But, the shows that were on during the day, or "Kids shows" never had the subtitles. Now, I admit that having the "translation" for some slang pop-up is understandable because we might not know the slang's meaning. But really, to have the EXACT words just spoken pop up on the screen? I was blown away the first time I saw it.
