Wilm Film: A First for Everyone
“Thank you for coming out and supporting the festival,” says the kind, elderly volunteer as we pass her our tickets. She looks genuinely excited to be here, and I can only pray we see this level of excitement from the rest of the volunteers. Despite the fact that this festival will only be debuting two films, there is a level of giddiness and sheer happiness from all involved, as if being involved in this inaugural festival somehow makes them a small cog in the ever growing Hollywood machine. One would hope this is true, but for the time being, it appears this festival will have to be delegated to simply showing the best and brightest films from the previous year. Of course it may be asking too much for a festival to have a decent…

The Book of Korey
Here was my winning entry for the SpillDotCon Film Festival 2012, "The Book of Korey," which details Korey's struggles to make it through a post-apocalyptic world, with only his sanity and a bag full of DVDs to help him.
I want to thank everyone for your continued help and support with this film, and with any luck, I'll be back next year with another one! Take care!

2nd Place Entry in Spill Film Festival 2011
I've gotten a lot of requests to post the movie I made for the Spill Film Festival this year, so I wanted to post it here for you all. For it being only my first year entering the festival, I am nothing but proud of receiving 2nd place. Congrats again to Stephan for making a great film again this year. To be honest, I'm just happy that everyone seems to be enjoying my film so much, and that's all I hoped for with this movie.

Also, you were great on the acoco. My mom doesn't want me to stay at the Super 8 because it would a little far from the convention, and I am going by myself this year, so I agreed to spend more money on the hotel, so I am staying at the Radissons.
Yeah, you're right. The hotel I stayed at last year (the Hyatt) didn't offer free breakfast and I had spent more money on food because of that. It was my parents choice, but this year, they're not coming, so the pressure is on to find a decent hotel without breaking the bank.
