My favorite would be: 1. 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later, these, for me, are the only zombie flick that I took seriously. 2. Ringu, couldn't sleep at night after watching it. 3. The Blairwitch Project, it…

or poutine? (yummy) How fares the music? Still going to Indonesia? If I don't hear from you before hand
have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
One tradition we started last year was, the boys and I decorated this big box to look like a turkey, and every year we all write 2 things we were thankful for this past year, and we keep them all & read the new ones and reread the old ones ( hokey I know, but it's actually gets us in tune with the spirit of the day ). Another tradition my wife & I have is to watch "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" the wednesday night before Thanksgiving. What about you man, you or your family got any Thanksgiving traditions?
You seen anything good lately? What was the last thing you saw? (rented or theater). Just bought
"Leon: the professional" & "Ghost in the Shell 2.0" on Blu-ray ( Both are Excellent! ). Also picked up
"Christmas Story" on Blu-ray to watch this year ( LOVE that film! ).
Hey, if by chance I don't talk to you before thursday man, have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Lol..I think the fact that it was only his 4th film and due to the (then) EXTREMELY GRAPHIC Nature of "A Clockwork Orange" are 2 of the reasons why Malcolm McDowell might have been TOO MUCH for the sensibilities of the 1971 academy members. (Too Bad, great performance, deserved at LEAST a nomination)
Forgot to ask if had seen "Away We Go" here's a link to a Great review of it:

here's the trailer:
Speaking of Asperger's Syndrome ("Adam") have you seen "Mozart & the Whale"?
Yes, looking forward to "The Road", (have not read the book), & "Avatar".
I saw "Paranormal Activity" opening weekend before hype (it was pretty much what I expected) *have you seen the alternate ending? Link to Bowenarrow's page:
http://my.spill.com/forum/topics/paranormal-activity-alternate
"Wolf Creek" falls into the torture porn category for me.. (getting tired of it)
yes makes you squirm (can get disturbing) , but is it truly Scary?
I have not heard of "Adam", what is that? I saw "Cannibal Holocaust" * put it off for years* WOW! What a BIG disappointment! *EXPLOITATION for exploitation's sake!* Nothing more, trying to hide in social commentary disguise, but miserably FAILS
* 1978 "Dawn of the Dead" succeeds admirably in social commentary*.
Saw "Død Snø" last night, SO Good! So much Fun! *Way better than that steaming pile
"Cannibal Holocaust"* I guess I'm looking forward to "The Road"(with Viggo Mortensen), and "The Book of Eli" (with Denzel Washington), both have a Post Apocalyptic vibe.
My Wife LOVES this movie ( more than I ), she is a musician ( plays the piano ), when we got married she gave her OLD Heavy piano away, (meant to get another one, never got around to it ).. she cried at the end of this film.. She wanted a piano so BAD! :) Hooray, happy ending, (belatedly) we got a beautiful piano, donated by a lovely older lady, who could play no more *She wanted it to go to a family who would appreciate it* ...my Wife cried EVEN More when the piano arrived!
I also love the films "Hair", "The Phantom of the Paradise", "Immortal Beloved", "Amadeus", and
"The Leningrad Cowboys Go America" for musical films.
