Just letting you know that Solomon Kane was created by Robert E. Howard, the same author who created Conan the Barbarian and has almost nothing in common with Van Helsing, other than being a dude who fights evil.
Solomon Kane is this bad ass who fights Wizards and Demons.
Van Helsing as he was originally written by Bram Stroker in 1897 is just a Doctor who is obsessed with sneaking in and killing Vampires while they are asleep because he lost his son to one. He would also have his ass completely handed to him by Solomon Kane.
The retarded Van Helsing movie with Hugh Jackman that came out in 2004 had almost no resemblance to the original character other than his name, and if anything, he was a rip off of Solomon Kane.
