There is a strange pattern forming in my movie geekdom. Whenever an intriguing science fiction film comes along that I really like, it always flops.
I admit that I love my sci/fi slow and deep but you would think that at least one of these movies ...
(aka: Films you couldn't wait to be on DVD, then turn out to be disappointed)

Of the films nominated for best picture 2008 Benjamin Button is definately the best. Yes its true, WALL-E and Dark Night got snubbed but I would also nominate Be Kind Rewind and Leatherheads. These films were WAY WAY WAY overlooked.
