Hometown:

About Me:
I'm a full time student studying to be a video game/movie artist. I love movies and I love critiquing them.

"Commander, I'd like you to leave the room so we can talk about you behind your back"

"Wow....I'm sexually aroused, Commander."

"DID YOU ORDER THE CODE RED?!!"

"The United States wants to charge you with murder and you want your defense to be 'Unit, Corps, God, Country'?"

"If I woke up in a different time and a different place could I wake as a different person?"

"I'm used to going out at 3am and doing something stupid."
All Time Favorite Movies:
Fight Club ( Self explanatory I think)

The Crucible (The first movie that ever made me cry. This movie has great acting and a great cast. Honestly Daniel Day Lewis' best film besides Last of the Mohicans)

Howl's Moving Castle (I love Miyazaki, but I get frustrated with his movie's young cast and the need for romance in his films. It was nice to have this film targeted at a young adult audience. Plus I love the book this movie was based on)

Friday the 13th 1-3 (I'm a horror fan, that means I do have a slight thing for campy culty horror)

Hard Candy (So many twists and turns, made for a spectacular thriller with great dialouge and acting)

Voices (the Japanese Horror film) (One of the few psychological horror films I've ever seen that could happen to anyone. No impossible contingencies to be filled, all you have to do is be angry and want to kill someone)

Troy (Pitt version) (Love the Iliad, love Brad Pitt, loved the action scenes. Coulda done without Orlando Bloom though, I don't like him.)

Watchmen (Honestly I thought this movie was very well done for what it was and was a great adaptation of the Graphic Novel. I was thoroughly impressed with what it was)

The Pillow Book (Okay, so it's softcore porn, but it is very artistic softcore porn)
All Time Worst Movies:
There Will Be Blood (SOOOOOO boring, I slept through an hour of it)

Public Enemies (a) I do not like Johnny Depp, he's had a few good roles, that's it. b) this movie felt like someone watched a couple of 1920 gangsters movies, played a few games of cops and robbers, then went and created a movie that looked like what they thought a 1920 gangster movie should look like. This movie was boring and I spent the entire movie begging for Depp's character to get killed so I could leave)

Most of the Friday the 13th Movies (After the first three the rest were just kinda uninteresting)

The Blair Witch Project (*twitch* So many things wrong with this movie)

Transformers (Michael Bay+raping of my childhood=trauma and therapy)
Favorite Actors or Actresses:
Ewan Mcgregor
Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt
Leonardo DiCaprio
Daniel Day Lewis
Jackie Earl Hayley
Favorite Directors:
Zack Snyder
Ridley Scott

okay, I know this movie is a formula for disaster. I mean it's basically Death Race meets Metagame/ any scifi novel or movie about gaming being reality...but at the same time it's like a car crash, so very disturbing yet you can't look away. I will be seeing this. Anyone else?

Hard Candy

Just finished watching Hard Candy and I must say I was not disappointed. Now I remember why I like Indie movies, they're not afraid to take risks.

Basically this movie had the torture porn elements of SAW, mixed with every lifetime movie about internet pedophiles, tossed into a blender with a little bit of mindfuck and misdirection tossed in.

Honestly I think Ellen Page is much better suited for this sort of movie than she was for Juno (man, did I hate Juno).
