I don't know if I would call Harry Potter "better".
I will admit that the "Production value" has been steady on all the movies. And I'll even agree that for a "Franchise" it at least doesn't turn and bite it's own ass.
But when it comes to "Renovating" the movie industry, Harry Potter movies aren't really "Ground breaking" in techniques. I'm not saying that they are bad or shouldn't be enjoyed. Just that every one of them has used "old school" techniques without starting anything new for the Film-Industry as a whole.
However, like I said. At least the Harry Potter movies have been consistent with GOOD quality to each movie. =)

Dude.. said "greatest thing I've ever read" for Watchmen because it IS the greatest THING..I have ever read..not just for graphicnovels/comic books but ALL books..k..thats my opinion
Take a step back.
WHA?
Frost/Nixon and Curious Case Of Benjamin Button won't be remember in 25 years? That is a absurb fuckin' comment!!
You obviously let the fanboyism of The Dark Knight get to your head. Sure The Dark Knight wasn't nominated for a Oscars that you wanted it to, but does that take away it's luster for you? Do you think any little of it now?
People know that movie is great (the $997,049,935 box office draw in proves that), it doesn't need the Academy to acknowledge how great it is.
Please, you Jokerwannabes pop out faster than Chinese babies.
I love The Dark Knight, don't get me wrong, it's a great comic book movie, but we need less people like you who think it's the movie to end all movies.

I think this comment is futile, I feel like I'd have to I paint my fuckin' face like a god damn clown for you to take me seriously.
I made a diorama in third grade of Fantastic Mr. Fox- a book which I loved fondly- and seeing this film brought me back to that, only better and bolder, but with the same handmade quality of someone awed by the world they read. It's also wildly fu...

But when it comes to changing the WAY films are made? Well, not as much as I do Star Wars. lol
