For those who don't know this one, Battle Shasers is an unfinished fantasy adventure comic created by Joe Madureira. It was a fun little comic that unfortunately tried to be a bi-monthly publication. It has the trappings of a Dungeons and Dragons ...

I love Garth Ennis's work. Got converted by Preacher and I have since progressed onto his latest comic book, The Boys. He claims that this is the comic that will out-preacher Preacher in terms of violence. Brief overview for those who don't know ...

About Me:
I'm a W&M student (a newbie at that), I like GOOD movies including but not limited to westerns, REAL martial arts movies, fantasy that isn't cutesy pukey, pretty much anything overly violent to the point of comedy, samurai movies (need more of those), and actual animated films (none of that computer genreated crap, hand drawn animation like what Studio Ghibli does out of Japan).

By that last comment I admit I like anime and manga. I'm also into swords and knives. It sort of built out of my childhood watching movies with swordfighting since my mom wouldn't let me watch anything with guns in it untill I was ten (the joys of being the son of a protective Catholic).

I have been won over by this website in three days. Not sure if that's a record or not since I'm sure some people joined up after one movie review. I took the time to look at everything before joining.

You've probablt stopped reading by now so I'll stop. Right here. At this particular place in the "about me section." I done writing now. You can stop reading. Crap I'm still writing. How am I going to st

William and Mary Outrage!

For everyone not living in the Tidewater area of Virginia, here's how it is. The president of my college, William and Mary, president Gene Nichols resigned his position on Tuesday owing to the Board of Visitors's decision not to renew his contract for the following year. What prompted this decision? Nichols removed a cross from outside of the Wren building chapel in order for non-Christian students to feel more comfortable, he authorized the Sex Worker's Art show, and was generally a liberal Dem… Continue

Is There an Artist on This Site?

Here's what's going through my head: a while back me and my old girlfriend were working on creating a web comic. I'd write the scripts since I can't draw worth a damn, and she'd undertake drawing it, which was what she wanted to do in the first place. It got to the point where she had some rough pages for the first chapter of the comic done and things were looking promising. Then we had to face some stuff and we broke up. She sent me the pages she had and encouraged me to start again with som

All Hail the Crimson King!

As a quick look over the new features to my page will show, I have gone on a small Crimson King streak. For those who aren't familiar with the character, the Crimson King is Stephen King's unifying in several of his works, connecting almost everything to his series "The Dark Tower." The myth that was built by the Crimson King's name and his quest to destroy everything and rule over nothingness is what fascinated readers. When the Crimson King himself was finally revealed in the last Dark Towe

My first blog ever!

Hi. I'm Serall, yet another new guy. This is the first ever blog I have started.

This is already not going as well as I'd hoped.

But in all seriousness, hello! I'm currently a noob here at spill. I found about about this place when I went looking for Sweeney Todd music on Veoh and found a review of the movie instead by the Spill Crew. It was a destined friendship. After checking the movie review archives I figured I'd best get in on this. I've joined up with forums before but th

I'm not much of a manga person, so I'm not sure how much I'd actually like it, but I'll look into it.

Hello Serall.
I want to thank you for posting Rikki Tikki Tavi.
It was a childhood favorite of mine. :)
Just wanted to give you a heads up that you could of put all the parts on one page instead of 3 pages.
In the description on the video, just embed parts 2 and 3 in there.
Then the whole show is right there. :)
Take care

Oh, and if they are not available at your local used book store, it isn't a very good used book store. these three are required reading in EVERY screenwriting course known to man.

I'll pass to you the three titles that were passed to me - three books that will change your screenwriting life. Which Lie Did I Tell by William Goldman. Screenplay by Syd Field. Story by Robert McKee. Everything you need to know is contained in those three books. Seriously.

Hey, saw your discussion about anime and thought I'd let you know, there is a new anime lover group called Anime Freaks. Also, I'm working on pulling together some anime reviews, both series and full-length film, to post on the site. Hit me back, cause I'll talk anime anytime. As an afterthought, thank you. Toshiro Mifune is an acting god.
