I think I can speak for everyone when I say that creepy people in movies are fascinating to watch, and there's no real reason why other than that we don't see these people in our normal lives. Normal…Continue

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that creepy people in movies are fascinating to watch, and there's no real reason why other than that we don't see these people in our normal lives. Being a fan of Agatha Christie movies, I ran across this 2005 adaptation of After the Funeral, and Michael Fassbender has just popped up. I only just started watching, so I don't know yet if he is the killer or even if he turns in a good proformance, but I wanted to share this anyways, and also ask other Films/TV movies actors were in before they started appearing on the cover of magazines and newspapers.Looking through his Wiki page is pretty sweet. I had no idea Fassbender was in 300, or that…See More

About Me:
Apart from being a film Fanatic, I also:
1.) Love to listen to the music of The Damned, Belle and Sebastian, The Beatles, The Adicts, Jefferson Airplane, The Velvet Underground, The Clash, Ennio Morricone, The Dubliners and the Clancy Brothers, Van Morrison, T. Rex, Bob Dylan, Phil Oches.
2.) Love reading comics, my favorites being Preacher, Transmetropolitan, and the online comics Lackadaisy, which is currently my profile page. I also read the comics of Alan Moore and obviously Batman. But I don't read much Superman and no Marvel.
3.) I also read actual books. PG Wodehouse and Kurt Vonnegut are my favorite authors, but other great books are MASH, Catch-22, Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy series, Teahouse of the August Moon, Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas, The Golden Compass (Fuck That Movie,) and, finally, the Harry Potter books (sue me.)

Other interest include forcing my friends to like the above and below as much as I do. I think it will make them better human beings.

Thank God I've finally found someone on Spill who isn't afraid to have favorites that date further back than the 1980s! The folks on this website by-and-large seem to have really short memories. While I don't agree with every single selection listed above (not a fan of Wes Anderson, but that's a matter of personal taste) I'm impressed with the gestalt of your lists.

I'll excuse you drawing a line between prose fiction and comics, but using the word "actual" in reference to prose makes comics sound like an illegitimate medium, and you and I both know it is not.

I'm on the cusp of finishing Act 1 I think this evening. I only just banged through all but the Royal Crypts this morning before work. I also have to walk myself through every possible stretch of ground and rummage through every "bookcase" possible as well as destroy all enemies. So I'll also be doing some serious single player rocking, and prolly not asking for any help till I'm absolutely, positively not getting any further on my own.

I'm enjoying the hell out the game thus far. More news on that cut scene soon enough.
