Tokyo Zombie was okay, the first half was really good, but by the 2nd half it just goes down hill a bit. I picks up a bit at the end though.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. It fits with the theme of Swan taking credit for Winslow's work if he's programming it with his own voice. I love the ending too, especially that audience member who puts on the phantom helmet.
Holy shit, Phantom of the Paradise is my favorite movie. I love the scene where Winslow's playing Faust while getting his new voice calibrated in that big panel machine thing.
Hey, Kappa, taking a stab in the dark, are you familiar with "Famous Monsters of Filmland" magazine, were you a fan? I started a "Famous Monsters of Filmland" group.
....that Z channel doc is AWESOME!
Hey, All, just saw "Paranormal Activity" last night (Sat. Oct 17th). It is worth checking out, *esp. if you liked "Blair Witch"--- if you HATED "Blair Witch" you MAY want to SKIP this!* I think this movie ONLY works with a PACKED movie theater the first couple of weeks, don't wait till you hear EVERYONE's Opinion, go while you can form your own! My best friend and I liked it, (he especially) there was some inventive stuff, with some chills, better than half the crap out there. But I read too MUCH Hype to be scared by it.
Leaving right now to go see "Zombieland" for the first time (was too busy dealing with sick kids to go see it the last couple of weeks), gonna go see what Y'all have been Raving about , looks like a Hoot!
There are lots of drug movies out there- some exploiting, some trippy, and some terrifying. What is the best Drug Movie? And for the sake of actual "drug movies", movies ABOUT drugs, not movies that are drug induced i.e. Yellow Submarine. Hopefull...
