I Don't Like That Guy With The Glasses

I used to be a huge fan of them (all the back to 2008) now they're just, to put it nicely, shit. They now only focus on creating shitty memes, tedious crossovers, being pretentious, hypocritical, douche bags (mainly Spoony and Doug Walker), can't take criticism, unfunny jokes, and making shitty, god awful, feature length movies. The point of this group is to discuss ways and ideas that we think could help TGWTG go back to what they did best in 2008-2009, just review forms of entertainment with…See More

I'm Done with ThatGuywiththeGlasses.com

It was around July of 2007 when I first discovered the Youtube user known as thatguywiththeglasses aka Doug Walker. At that point in my life I was fascinated with a thirty minuet long PSA from the early 90s that had not so fond memories of called Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue. While watching it again for shits and giggles I discovered that the suggestions column contained a link to a review of the program. I clicked on the link and, I was introduced the Nostalgia Critic and what I thought was…See More

A Look at Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy: Part3

This Movie and MeSuffice to say, I was not looking forward to this movie at first. The initial trailers left me cold, and not even the sight of Optimus Prime swooping out of sky, and chopping up Decepticons could get my blood pumping. Then in the middle of May, Capone posted his early review on AICN and it was positively glowing. I then concluded that either the film was good or Capone was bribed into writing a positive review. After seeing the movie with Liam(in 3D no less) I've concluded that…See More

A Look at Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy: Part2

This Movie and MeI got to admit, I was really looking forward to Transformers 2. Every trailer I saw just got me more and more excited to see it. Even when the overwhelmingly negative reviews came out I still had hope for the film, but then I read Carlyle's review of the movie where he went into excruciating detail about what was wrong with the film, from the the Stepin Fetchbots, to the bad plotting, to the now notorious “robot testicles” scene. Liam, who had already seen the film was able to…See More

A Look at Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy: Part1

Greetings fellow Spillios. With the final installment of the Michael Bay directed Transformers series coming out soon, I've decided to create a little retrospective on the previous films in the series, and go over what worked, and what didn't work. This Movie and MeI was born in 1989 so I pretty much missed the golden age of this franchise, but when I was in pre-school I met a kid named Liam who was quiet enamored with Transformers. This love of the shape shifting robots proved to be quiet…See More

Completely agree, 2001 A Space Odyssey is great, not in the least bit overrated
