Shakespeare in the Park - July 14th or the 21st

I wanted to gauge interest of the group going to "Into the Woods" in July. The show is part of the Public Theater's Shakespeare/Sondheim in the Park series, and they've got a great cast this year including Amy Adams and Denis O'Hare.Anyways, tickets are free, but in order to get them, you have to camp out early the morning of the show and wait in line up until they distribute tickets at 1 PM. The good news is that if you want to go to the show but can't commit the time to wait in line, you…See More

Nothing like a lazy rainy weekend to recharge the batteries. Glad to hear you guys came out unscathed. Your famous now I heard about your post on Acco, I think its real cool you spoke your mind. Its good to break up the juvenile humor once in a while

Ok, I just watched the last Game of Thrones...

What???  When you told me something bad was going to happen to him I thought you meant, I don't know, a nasty paper cut or something, but holy cow!  I'm still reeling.  You know I'd heard Martin killed off main characters left and right, and that nobody was safe in Game of Thrones, but wow, that really took me by surprise.

Hi Rachel, I tried a few times after 7 pm to see if I could get some tickets for Fridays show. I was unsuccessful but I hope you get a chance to see your friend perform tonight. Cheers to your script. You'll have to let me treat you out to brunch or a cold one to celebrate your good fortune and talents. :)

Tried getting tickets for the play you linked but tickets appear to be sold out. I'll try again at home on my laptop instead of my iPad. :)

Hi Rachel. Call me Ron. By now, you probably know our 17th meet up is this Friday for Your Highness followed by meeting up at a Hookah bar called Falucka in NYU/Greenwich Village vicinity. Itinerary is set up in the NYC B&V discussions.

We understand every New Yorker has 10-15 things going on at once so if you could spare the time, I'd like you to post in the group, what movie or movies you'd like to see in May, what kind of food you like...and it doesn't have to be movie related what other things you like to do in NYC. Most importantly what day is preferrable.

I ask this from every body before I set up the next meet up. Every member of the group is important. We understand how busy life gets. So feel free to speak up. And you don't have to show up at the movie. Maybe you have something going on and will meet up with us for drinks after. Don't feel obligated, that's why we make it monthly.

Have a wonderful rest to your week. :)

Cheers
D.d. (Ron)

Thanks for accepting! I like your reviews. I just do not understand why some people do not understand the notion of personal opinion, but it is the internet.
