But I do think the prequels had very solid beginnings for a story. It was just handled so clumsily, cinematically speaking.
And yeah, Friedberg and Seltzer were writers on some of the Scary Movies before some idiot executive decided to give them a camera.
And you know, I don't really hate Episode III either. Maybe it's because after seeing the first two, I was conditioned into accepting them. Or maybe it isn't that terrible of the movie. I do actually enjoy the conflict between Obi-wan and Anakin (though to do that I have to look at it out of the context of the rest of the films).
But Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg... goddamn them. I'll say that Vampires Suck is probably (dare I say it) the "best" of the films they've made. But my God, that's not saying much.
