Considering picking up Skyrim. Any advice?

I'm not an avid fan of Western Fantasy RPGs, to be honest.  In fact, this would be my first foray into the world of Elder Scrolls, but after watching a friend play it for awhile, and being a big fan…Continue

About Me:
Just a normal dude, I guess. Used to host an obscure podcast and reviewed video games, now I just write reviews and work a 9 to 5 job. I love good movies, but I also love riffing on bad movies. It's very hard for me not to enjoy myself at a movie, even if I'm just making fun of it the entire time.

All Time Favorite Movies:
Crash, Snatch, Mallrats, Shaun of the Dead, V for Vendetta, Clerks, MST3K: The Movie (or any MST3K episode to be honest)
All Time Worst Movies:
Ballistic Ecks vs Sever, Gothika, etc
Favorite Actors or Actresses:
Liam Nieson (I have the hugest mancrush on him), Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman, Edward Norton, Hugo Weaving, Leo DiCaprio.

Kevin Smith (pre-Clerks II), Edgar Wright, Quinton Tarentino, Robert Rodriguez (on occasion)

Nucking Good Time: Pal Reviews Assassin's Creed Revelations

So in order to immerse myself fully into a community (ie attempt to make myself look NOT like a random toolbox joining for the sake of joining) I figure what better way to introduce myself than to do a preliminary review.

Since video games seem to be my forte (I used to have a "podcast' in which I reviewed them, and yes those are massive sarcasm quotes), what better place to start than that?  Specifically, the latest thing to cross my XMB, Assassin's Creed: Revelations.  Pre-warning:…
