Alright. Still being optimistic about the Prince of Persia movie? It looks like it could be great..... but ya never know. I mean, I think there will eventually be a good video game movie.
Life has been ok I must say :)
Been working. had a couple of dates here and there {nothing serious}, I am getting my karaoke books updated with brand new music and getting them remade, so each page in the 8 books will be laminated.
People at the bar trash the books worse than any other place I have ever seen.
So I need to make the book s in a way I can put them in the dishwasher LOL.
I have not seen any new movies yet.. Not to many of them were my cup of tea so to say.
More of the sci fi guy LOL . Although I do want to see the Benjamin Buttons one but I would like to take a date to the one I think rather than see it myself. I really hope the new Star Trek movie is not all a bunch of "sparkly people" like how they portray those characters in the movie twilight.
Let me start by saying...I finally joined because I realized I spend more than two hours a day on Spill looking forward to Carlyle's rants and the latest Spill Crew review. Also, I probably should add: I LOVE MOVIES. Yes, love them. I've worked in AMC theaters and at a Gamestop, which helped feed my addiction over the lonely years. But more on me-
I'm a student, an incurable doodler, a games and movies addict, and last but not least, chronic napper. I can be long winded, and I have my biases- but I love talking with people and sharing my interests in movies and entertainment. Feel free to add me as a friend, and I will gladly add you back!
All Time Favorite Movies:
Pan's Labyrinth, Hot Fuzz, Sin City, Little Miss Sunshine, A Tale of Two Sisters (2003), Nightmare Before Christmas, Amelie, Sweeney Todd, Big Fish, Shaun of the Dead, Donnie Darko, Perfect Blue, Ichi the Killer, The Audition, Grave of the Fireflies, The Piano, Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, My Neighbor Totoro, Cloverfield, Batman Begins, Ed Wood, Phantom of the Opera, The Prestige, Ghost World, Run Lola Run, Rent, The Descent, Cube, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Finding Nemo, The Shining, American Psycho, Carrie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Silence of the Lambs, Shawshank Redemption, Memento, V for Vendetta, Aliens, Clockwork Orange, Dead Poets Society
All Time Worst Movies:
Meet the Spartans, Date Movie (yes, I actually saw both of these... proud I'm not, but at least I feel qualified to call them grade D BULLSH*T.), Pearl Harbor, Urban Legend, and a whole slew of other movies so bad, they simply merit the words 'I forgot I saw that... but I remember it sucked.'
Favorite Actors or Actresses:
Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, Audrey Tatou, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson, Thora Birch, Will Smith, Milla Jovovich, Edward Norton, Anthony Hopkins, Steve Carell, Alan Rickman, Jeremy Irons (pre- Dungeons and Dragons), Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale... But you know what? I already knew these guys could act, and I love sitting through a film with a bunch of unknowns and thinking, 'damn, these guys are good.'
Ok, I've tried to not bring up politics, but this is politics AND movies, so get a load of this. I'm exactly not sure how to feel, except that the ad looks cheap and corny- movie clips strung together with Windows Movie Maker much? Ok, so Jack's one liners fit pretty well, but he's a good actor. What do you expect? Those movies have been around since I was a wee little... was I even born when some of those were made? And really, what is the message you're sending out when the… Continue
Yes, today marks my entry into the Spill community! And here I swore I'd never put together another profile page after realizing how much I hated myspace and facebook... (Well, to be fair, most of my hate comes from those sites being utterly useless to me, as the only thing myspace is good for is getting music advertised at you and BOTS and the only thing facebook is good for is a slew of completely tripe applications: Note how the only application I've actually kept tabs on in the past few week… Continue
