The Passion of Joan of Arc....a movie way ahead of its time...
Yesterday after an exhausting week, I decided to sit down and watch a movie that i've been told is a MUST SEE. When they told me it was a silent movie, I immediately came to the conclusion it was Charlie Chaplin's City Lights, a great piece of cinema, in my opinion. Their response was no, no, this one was WAY better than city lights. So with that I had to see what this movie was all about, and with a help of a friend, I got the dvd. THE ATHLETE JUST DOESN'T MATTER ANY MORE.....
Today a Georgian Luger died, during a practice round down the Luge track in Vancouver. The track is reportedly the fastest in the world, and some say, that perhaps its too fast. In fact many foreign athletes are complaining that they are not being given enough time to practice on the new track, and many have already crashed on their practice runs... one australian Luger says, " we're not test dummys.....we're human beings". CAPTAIN EO RETURNS TO DISNEYLAND!!!
Since some A-hole decided to be a smart ass, and criticize my post as unnecessary... I'm keeping this in my blog.
Yup, Captain EO will be returning home at Disney's Tomorrowland, after a long hiatus. As some of us recall it was axed in 98 and replaced with that crappy, "Honey I shrunk the audience" show. Question is, will they pull a Lucas on this one? or will they leave it the hell alone, to make us 70 &80s babies happy. Because lets be serious now, Captain EO is totally for the older… Continue

Hey girl, thanks! I actually really dig what Nolan is doing with Hathaway's getup. I think it looks great- not too flashy, not too over the top, very straightforward and to the point--you know, how it would be if someone sat down and actually decided to put together a Catwoman suit that they could burgle in.
I did find it rather funny that my sarcasm was entirely mistaken for seriousness however... haha
